The vines is such a beautiful place to stay, comfort 10/10, room size is fantastic, mini golf with the kids is fabulous and the restaurant, well that’s another level of fabulous. Food is absolutely delicious and cannot fault it.

The weekend was good - it was relaxing. The price is probably higher than the standard of the resort and for what you get compared to what you pay. The rooms could have been cleaned to a higher standard - there were multiple spiders and webs in the rooms, most corners of the room had a spider - both the floor corners and ceiling corners, including the bathroom. The minibar fridge does not keep anything cool. All contents were warm. I resorted to walking to the cafe to get cold water because it was not accessible in the rooms. Only 1 restaurant was open for meals (the cafe), Muscats was closed. The cafe is fine for a quick bite of average food, but to eat 2nights in a row with average and pricey food is not great. The cafe was also understaffed for a weekend too - tables were not being cleaned or set to allow us to be seated, I had to request a table be cleared and wiped - which it was, but then we were not given any cutlery or servettes. I had to find and take them from another smaller table.

We had a lovely stay, room was perfect and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The only let down was when we had our meal at the cafe, the starters and mains arrived at the same time. When we mentioned this to the bar staff member, she said that's how we do it her and she looked indignant. She did offer to take the food back and keep it warm, but following her reaction I would not have trusted her. Everything else was perfect, from.welcome, breakfast to departure. Thank you team.
