We wanted to stay outside of the city for the fresh air and see the night sky. The site was beautiful. We were surprised and delighted by all the kangaroos. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was too soft and old. The water pressure was weak. The breakfast was fine, the staff very friendly.

The stay was really disappointing. The walls are paper thin, the food - breakfast, lunch and the private dining dinner, were very underwhelming. The groundskeeper yelled at us for walking on a path because we were too close to the golf course - he said 'Would you walk on a cricket pitch?!' Which was patronising as hell. And for the record, there was no one on the golf course.

Room was comfortable and clean and great location for the event we attended, however for the price, I would have thought we would have more coffee. Not everyone likes or can drink pod coffee and very limited instant available. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but we couldn't wait to go get a cup of coffee when we checked out.

The venue is gorgeous, the golf team were great and the course was beautiful. The room used for our meetings was very nice and clean, and the staff were attentive to what we needed. The rooms we stayed in were simple but comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good. The one big let down was the rest of the catered food, which was disappointing across the board for the amount paid. The dinner was ok, however the desserts were quite poor.

$400 Bose ear phones left on beside table in room 140 but apparently “ not found” had conference and extended 1 night. Locked out of room got key recut and the room was not cleaned. 30 mins waiting at reception while the new key was being cut.

The Vines offers great facilities which we used during our stay and enjoyed. However we were disappointed with the villa accommodation. The unit was tired, dated and in need of a refresh. The bathroom had a broken power point, the kitchen lacked cook wears and the space could had used a deeper clean. For what we paid we expected something more comfortable .
