on arrival attempted to change an aspect of my booking was assured it would be changed not changed for a couple of days as a result charges appeared on my statement that had I not picked up would have cost me over $120 dollars Also the bathroom was not cleaned very well with hair left all over the floor

This was a company stay on arriving we were told there was no corporate card on file being Sunday afternoon i couldn't chase it up. On checking out on Monday I received my invoice by email I was charged for my meal and not my room on my personal card I called the Brisbane office and was assured that a card number had been supplied i will now have to go through the process of an expenses claim.

Very clean and well maintained. Not in the center of the CBD but close enough. Travelers should note that aside from body wash, shampoo, and towels, nothing is provided—so none of those mini toothpaste tubes, indoor slippers, etc. that are typically given in other hotels. I wish this info was posted on the website so that I could have packed a pair of slippers in my bags. While it is a budget hotel, what this exactly means differs from country to country and hotel to hotel. A heads up would have been nice.

This is the second time we stayed with IBIS. The room was provided with not even basic items, no drinking water, no toothpaste or brush! We tried to call reception multiple times, nobody answered even though it says 24 hrs reception!!! Very disappointed about the service and never going to choose this in the future.

Kindly note the restaurant and reception offer free bottles of water and the tap water in the room is filtered. Most hotels do not provide toothpaste/toothbrushes in the room, though we do have this available on request at no extra cost. Our reception is manned 24 hours a day, though we may have been assisting a guest away from the desk or were busy checking in other guests - we apologize for this.
