We only stayed 3 nights pre cruise. Clean hotel, great location, good choice at breakfast, nice pools, more than adequate room, kettle, friendly staff, on the beach. Staff help you cross the road from the garden wing to the main hotel. My only gripe is hotel prices. Walk left a hundred yards or so and food and drink halves in price.

I booked room only, upon check in I asked FO staff if I can get a discount for breakfast since I'm an ALL member. None of FO and FB staff knew the answer. They just told me to come to restaurant right away to know how much is the discount. I don't think this was a right thing. And it made me decide to have breakfast at other place. On 2nd day, I came to swimming pool at late afternoon. There was 1 attendant incharge. If he was kind enough to let me know that the pool is going to close in 10 mins, I would really appreciate it. So I would not bother to get wet in just 5 minutes before he told me sorry the pool will be closed now. When i told him if I can get another 5 mins, he said sorry can not because he need to go home. Wasn't expected to get this kind of answer from a 5 stars hotel team member. Overall, the hotel is very nice. Thank you

It is disappointing to hear that our team was unable to provide clear information regarding your ALL member breakfast benefits. Furthermore, we apologize for the pool attendant's lack of communication and the unprofessional manner in which the pool closure was handled. Our experience was lovely! The hotel was super clean, our rooms were very comfortable and everyday we were satisfied with how Rio cleaned our rooms. The only disappointment was that our balcony door lock was broken so we couldn’t go out on our balcony but it was probably too hot anyway and we were able to use our other families next door. The staff members were so friendly and welcoming at Novotel. The spa was also super relaxing and the staff there were also very kind and made us feel comfortable for people who have never had a massage before! Definitely recommend staying here, the atmosphere and location was excellent!!

I'm not generally a hotel person and prefer a lot more activity on my holidays, however, the 5 days spent at Novotel Benoa was a lovely experience and a great way to hang out with my daughter and her family. The pools were stunning, especially the one at the beach. It was very quiet when we were there, so this did make our stay very peaceful, but I did feel sorry for all the businesses in the area and the hotel. A couple of things that I thought would have been a nice touch was the fact that my daughter and her husband stayed here 21 years ago for their wedding anniversary and although we mentioned this to the staff there was no celebration or thanks for coming back. The other very small downside was the massage, I did have one massage lady who did not give a good massage, but overall the daily massages were great. I also had my nails done at the resort, which was lovely and the quality was outstanding. The buffet breakfast was amazing, and I loved everything on offer, which was very extensive. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday the best.
