It was all good at IBIS until we had to go to sleep. There was a light on that we could not turn off. So it it stayed on making sleeping difficult.

Stayed 3 nights and was upgraded to a brand newly renovated room on level 8 featuring views over the CBD. The room was very clean, with comfortable bed and powerful shower and the renovation made fantastic use of the space - very practical and making the room spacious and bright. The only thing lacking was an in-room safe, and I was surprised the air conditioning wasn't part of the renovation - it was clearly the old original control which only allowed for speed control, not to set temperature. That said, the temperature suited my preference perfectly and coped well on some very hot days. I enjoyed daily buffet breakfasts and good value dinner and drinks with friendly service in Rubix bar. The Ibis Perth definitely sets the standard for an Ibis hotel following these renovations - this was my first stay here but I'm sure it won't be my last.

Stayed only 1 night got a room on the 2nd Floor room was nice and bright modern decor and clean was sufficient but no restaurant downstairs I would book there again but maybe up on the top floors as there was a musty smell noticeable with the aircon off, owing maybe to the bottom floors but a good stay
