Tthe gentleman working at reception on 25th December 2025 was not helpful (James). Spoke to him about 2 separate issues, and neither were looked into at all. Asked for a chair as one was missing, he said he would get housekeeping to bring one up the next day - we understood it must have been skeleton staff over the holiday period, so we obliged his request. Next day, we waited the entire morning/afternoon - no word from housekeeping. Contacted reception again, only to find out that he did not hand over to them regarding this. Housekeeping had no idea either - they ended up having to rush to get this done before they left. He was either inept or lazy, maybe both. I strongly recommend re-training him as his service does not stand up to the level expected from Novotel.

I stayed at room 118, the room has very very poor lightning & the bedsheet has holes.. haha.. My stay was on 13Dec & 14 Dec, checked out on 15Dec. On day 2 (14 Dec 2025) afternoon, it rained around 3.30pm... woah, rain water seeped through the glass window panels.. luckily the rain was a short one! I did feedback all these to my tour leader on all these!
