My first night on the 24th Nov, whilst the room looked clean there were long blonde hairs all over the cushions. My second stay from 26th Nov to 29th Nov - the cleaning was very substandard, the tv casting wouldnt work and whilst i called reception was told nothing they could do. The standard of the rooms are very old and dated and need a refurb. As the travel director for our company, we currently have this hotel as a preferred however I may revisit this until such time as it is brought up to a better standard.

1. Flowers ordered by my husband with phone request to have them waiting in our room on our arrival were sitting at reception when we checked in spoiling the surprise he had planned for me for our 56th wedding anniversary. 2. Numerous attempts to call Room Service on our arrival & the following day to request ice went unanswered. Reception said "they should be there" when he contacted them to see why there was no answer. 3. Was supposed to receive complimentary drinks on arrival. When checking the next morning to see why we didn't receive a voucher we were told you had to use the App to access them. I had downloaded the App when making the booking however I was unaware that the 'vouchers' were on the App. The Gentleman at reception tried to help me however, as I did not know my password to log on to the App & was unable to change my password due to my phone not receiving any emails since Easter it could not happen & was requested to come back a bit later. When we went back, he was able to get the assistance of the duty manager who organised the complimentary drinks for us. Both were very helpful.

Nearly all Accor hotels have now moved across to digital drink vouchers and no longer issuing paper vouchers. To help with the transition, we advertise this in all three guest lifts. Whilst I am pleased the Assistant Managers helped with the vouchers, the team are trained to take customers to the nearest outlet to assist with drinks. I will follow this up again with the team. I am currently following up on the room service phone and flowers are this is not acceptable. My apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.
