Nice staff but not up to standard

My room wasn't cleaned 2 days in a row despite my repeated requests via phone and face to face with a cleaner, I just made my own bed one night. Our meetings were very long and hard and after a meak you are just exhausted and want to go to a tidy room. The electrical wiring to the switches in the room were not done correctly and one wouldn't turn off at all next wardrobe (recently renovated). I appreciated the manager sending up the lovely maintenance man to fix it, but I realised later that the bedside switches were also not right, I just left that. The catering staff in our 3 day conference room were very good but the restaurant mixed up our lunch orders down by the pool on one of the days. I also think the entrance to the hotel is not signposted for drivers very clearly as both arriving and leaving the drivers couldn't find it. I feel training of house keeping , checking each renovated room thoroughly before sign off are urgently needed.

We had a lovely well earned stay. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only have one disappointment that the new Greek restaurant does not accept the Accor discount. So we had dinner both nights at the bar who accepted our Accor discount and the food and service was exceptional.
