As you will know, Accor has changed alot of there features. Now a free night, means you have to stay 2 nights and one of them is free. Clever concept. Food is now 30% off, no more 50% BUT alcohol we now get 15%. Again clever. We were upgraded on check in. Nice. Still I do miss boot scooting Karl on check in and Marina, but life goes on. Best Accor staff eva. Our room, lovely and clean, bed made to perection. Well done housekeeping. Love how you still have biscuits for your tea, coffee and those cheeky Cockatoos. Love this hotel for that. Hotel has a major update and looking gorgeous. We certainly can't complain at all. 15 out of 10...great service, funny service. Went for lunch, we were given dinner menu's but hey, easliey resolved.

The room was a good size, comfortable and had excellent facilities. The view to the ocean was very nice. The hotel is well located, a short stroll from Wollongong North Beach, the boat harbour and City Beach. It is also conveniently located at stops for the 55A and 55C free shuttle buses.

warm room, wildlife in room with biscuit crumbs all over floor, hidden powerpoint beside bed - had to move furniture to plug phone in, no comfortable chair to sit in and unable to use shower as dangerous - far too hight to be safe to climb over into shower

We regret that you found the room too warm and that the layout, including the location of the power point and seating, was not to your comfort. Your comments regarding room functionality are appreciated and will be shared with the relevant team for review. Regarding the bathroom, your room was fitted with a shower/bath combination. We understand that this configuration may not be suitable for all guests. While not all rooms have this setup, we do offer rooms with walk-in showers, and for any future stays we would be more than happy to note your preference or arrange a room move should you be unhappy with the configuration upon arrival. With respect to the wildlife you encountered, we do have cockatoos that are local to the area. Unfortunately, if balconies or windows are left open they may venture inside, which is beyond our control. That said, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused and the condition in which you found the room. Your feedback is very important to us, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention.
