Stayed here for the Xmas markets, people are obviously quite picky on the other reviews however, the staff were lovely not rude at all, the rooms were clean and tidy as expected. We had no issues with anything whilst staying here and its right next to the Severinstraße tram stop which takes you to the heart of Cologne in 5 minutes. Buy a day ticket on VRS or KVB app for around 9 euros is the best option. You can also walk which is about 15 mins into town which takes you past many shops along the way Hotel was also easy to get to from Koln airport. No complaints from me, would stay here again. Don't always believe the bad reviews, some people complain about anything.

We received good service . The room was clean and comfortable. I thought there was enough space to spread out and be comfortable. I especially liked being beside transit. And around good restaurants and shops.

Enjoyable stay, staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Restaurant food was excellent, room was comfortable. Definitely not a 10 minute walk from the station as indicated on the website though; more like 25 minutes.

We paid for an early check in (10:00am) and our room was not ready when we arrived at 10:00. We were travelling with a 11month old baby. We were told we would be reimbursed the early check in fee we paid, by two separate persons. We still have not received the reimbursement.
