No recognition of an Accor Gold Cardholder. I presented my membership card to the lady who checked me in. She added it into the booking, never said 'welcome back', never offered me a complimentary drink voucher or even hinted at a room upgrade. She never once smiled.

Spectacular location, fantastic pool and spa, great breakfast.

We wanted to return to The Mecure Panorama because we enjoyed using the pool and spa so much on our previous visit. Our room had a fantastic view of the city and we walked down to Freiburg in the morning before spending the afternoon in the hotel’s pool and spa. The breakfast at Hotel Panorama is exceptional and we enjoyed a very pleasant dinner there on our second evening.

service deterioated a lot, esp. in restaurant. Less food choices than before snd quality of menues not as good anymore. Hotel also needs renovation

We really want to apologize for any inconvenience caused. Furthermore, we thank you for your comment about the renovation needs of our hotel. The Panorama Hotel Mercure Freiburg was built at the beginning of the seventies in its multi-storey elongated way. Over the years, the hotel has been continually modernized and renovated. In 2013, the last "major renovation" took place in several parts of the house. In 2016, the swimming pool area was redesigned and equipped with the most modern swimming pool technology. In 2018 the topic of "fire protection" was implemented according to the latest standards for the best possible safety of our friends of the house. Further measures are being planned.
