The reason I didn’t score it a 10 is because it is advertised as having parking when in reality there are just a couple of allocated hotel spots and that’s not explained at all. We did find parking easily just a short walk away. The room was comfortable and bright, but a little dated and the tv was the smallest we’ve seen in a while! All the staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fresh and had a good selection. Overall it’s a good option, especially for us as a family of 4 and we’d definitely stay again.

Very pleasant receptionists. Rooms adequate size nicely equipped. Breakfast is really extensive and tasty with everything fresh. Again staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 1 night as had an early ferry the next day. Rooms were basic for the price and was quite loud in the night being a central location plus footsteps from above floor. Ok, but for the price I’d look to stay a bit out of Roscoff if had to do again.

We are sorry, however, that you found the room too basic for the price and that noise from the central location and from the floor above disturbed your night. We understand how important a good night’s sleep is, especially when travelling early in the morning. Our hotel is currently approaching a major renovation, which will allow us to modernize and improve our rooms and facilities. The hotel will close from September 30th, with a reopening planned for early June 2026. We also understand your comments regarding value for money. Our central seaside location is one of the main advantages of staying with us, but we regret that you did not feel the overall experience justified the price on this occasion. We had a great overnight stay after departing the ferry. The ferry was running late and the staff ensured we were looked after when we arrived late in the evening. We really enjoyed and breakfast and the family room was perfect for us.

Nice welcome from reception staff. Room was clean but a lot smaller than expected and very basis. No air-con and no kettle and small bath towels. Really tired looking and expensive in our view. We had to open the window for cooler air….and the 5am chorus of seagulls.

Reservation made 14.2.2026, for stay on 15.7.26. Collected room key, sorted parking, difficult because fun fair occupying most of parking. Went to room, on opening door by 2 cms, assailed by disgusting stench! Closed door and went to reception. Explained problem. Returned to room with receptionist who had bottle of air freshener. She sprayed room, couldn’t understand smell, thought it could be due to high tide, we were on first floor, room 128, more of that later. She said she was sorry, but as hotel full she was unable to offer us any other room!! Please note date of original reservation!!! Advised she had a machine which might help, but as we had had a long, very hot drive from the Vendee, we said we would make do with opening window to full extent and continue using spray. This we did, although by having window open we had to put up with, sea, screaming seagulls and late night noise from funfair! This was our third visit to the hotel, and while not in first flush of youth, we do not require a room adapted for disabled use! No effort was made to explain why we had been allocated such a room. We requested that the receptionist make a note for morning staff regarding the less than satisfactory condition of room. This she said she would do. In the morning we went down to breakfast, where we enquired of the receptionist, young and blonde, regarding the notification about the state of the room. She advised that she had personally checked the room and it had been fine. Thus inferring we were lying. We ate breakfast and departed. We had requested that given our experience there should be compensation for the less than satisfactory stay, to date we are not aware that any action has been made. We will be advising Brittany Ferries of our experience.
