The hotel is located right on the waters edge, in the centre of Roscoff. We had a sea view room and it was well worth paying the extra for - stunning views over the sea and nearby islands.

This is the best budget hotel we have used in France by far. The English speaking staff were simply excellent. The cleanliness was unexpectedly good for a French hotel. The breakfasts were ample and the choices comprehensive. The bed, bedding and pillows were top class and Uber comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently situated and although there is no parking, free parking is available within one minute walking time away. The bathroom and showers were very, very good, hot water a plenty and a good strong shower. So, is this hotel like many French budget hotels, a little rough round the edges? Of course it is. The sliding front entrance door was broken. So what. The Otis lift was noisy and perpetually grumbly. So what. The curtain in our room was not only broken at the rail but amply demonstrated what might happen if you leave its design to a lunatic. So what. The amazingly ergonomic breakfast bar was more broken than whole and despite many attempts at a repair, I suspect was close to expiring. So what. In the reception sitting area a cupboard door catch was missing and a quick peep revealed an amazing array of high voltage electrical equipment which if touched by a child would provide an entertaining spectacle but hey, you would only touch it once. But this is France. It’s why we visit. It’s laid back and warning notice free. It’s a different W. of life and in so many ways a better one. It’s not having to watch your back all the time in case the State is ready to pounce. I think it’s called, ‘prioritie’ and the Ibis in Roscoff has theirs just about right. Customer first, rest later. In short, would thoroughly recommend this hotel to travellers all.

Very nice room with interesting view. Near the lift though which was noisy during the night. Someone used it at 3am. and it woke us up.

This hotel is right by the sea. Rooms with sea views are great for watching the changing scenery as the tides come in and out. Easy walks around the town and by the sea. The staff were very helpful. Rooms are small but fine for a short stay.
