The Hotel is nearby to the Roman Theater station. All important landmarks are at walking distance. However, the wash basin in the toilet has water-logging problem. Even the tap being open for a few seconds, might cause the water to stay in the basin for minutes. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay.

My wife and i arrived at the hotel at 23:00, without a reservation. The trains out of Austria were cancelled until Thursday, so we had to fly. We had a reservation at the IBIS in Nuernberg for the 16th, but planes from Vienna do not fly to Nuremberg, only Frankfurt. All trains from Vienna to Germany were cancelled, because of flooding between Vienna and Linz. Our only option was a late flight. We stayed at your hotel in the past and thought you might be able to help us out. You did not disappoint. The attendant at the desk was incredibly friendly and responsive to our dilemma and was able to offer us a room at the price we would have paid in Nuernberg. We slept well and went to the airport at 9 AM to get our boarding passes. Many thanks for the superior service at your hotel. That evening attendant could not have been more kind and gracious. The world should be full of people like him. We will be back! Thank you very much!

Especially good are the following when considered a 2 star which makes clear prior to booking the features it does not gave. The location on the quiet edge of the old town within 10 mind walk of the centre. Buffet breakfast has varied and ample choices. They made clear that the lifts at the time of stay were getting refurbished with 1 out of the 2 out of Commission during prior communication as as clearly noted in the hotel showing good communication. Underground car park access communication answered promptly ahead of travel noting you can access it before check-in giving the staff the ticket during check-in. 50 spaces for most of the stay was ample until the end of the stay when it got very busy. Only issue with underground car park was that exact procedures for leaving could do with improvement. Front desk staff provided great assistance with check in & check out information
