The airport bus stops right outside. Friendly staff. Iron and kettle in the room. The air conditioner does not work. It blows like a fan but it can't cool the room and the windows don't open. It’s 30+ degrees as hell.

Arrived 8.pm went for food at 8.30 after waiting in a queue for 10 mins told no food as staff off sick . It was suggested that I go down the road to holiday inn .This was not an option as an 80 year old female travelling solo .No provision although advertised so as I had not eaten since lunch time and food was not available for early flight times I had many hours without any food . Iwould have booked another hotel if I had known no food available and certainly feel poor service and overpriced for poor facilities available . I am a seasoned traveller .

Dear Guest, please accept my sincere apologies for the shortfalls in standards in not being able to offer food during your stay. Absolutely understand the frustration in not being able to order food with us, unfortunately on this evening we had one of our chefs who was unable to work due to sickness at the last minute and we were unable to gain cover. This did mean that whilst the team did their best to offer the menu they did have to close off the kitchen early. I can only apologise for this , certainly not the norm for us but nothing we could do in the circumstances, kind regards Peter Byard General Manager

When we first arrived there was no one anywhere for me to know where to check in so I was left stood there waiting for a moment. When someone did emerge the person at the desk was very cheery and friendly but that’s the only good thing about this place. When we got to our room, it was boiling and it took forever for the aircon to kick in and stay to make any minor difference. The room was mediocre. The morning of check out, a member of cleaning knocked on my door and asked when I was checking out. I told them 12 and she then just looked at her wrist and then looked at me with a look that made me uncomfortable. When I asked is it already 12 she said yes and then continued to look at me like I was scum. I said okay we are leaving but the when I went to my phone. It was only 11:50 so I don’t know why she was rushing me or making me feel uncomfortable with horrible looks.
