I am a regular guest at the Novotel Bangkok On Siam Square Hotel, and this is my fourth or fifth stay here. I always book the Corner Deluxe room for my family because I really enjoy staying at this hotel. The location is fantastic and very convenient, right next to the Siam BTS, making it easy to access different areas of the city. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. However, I wish they could extend late check-out to later than 2 PM. The hotel offers access to the Premier Lounge, which serves a daily breakfast and provides refreshments from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, including tea, coffee, chocolate, fruit juice, alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and light snacks. While I appreciate these offerings, I would love to see an improvement in the variety of food available for breakfast. Overall, my family enjoys our time here, and we plan to return for our holiday in three months. Thank you!

The quality of the rooms at Novotel and the facilities was shocking for me. Given the brand of Novotel, I had larger expectations. However, other than the location of the hotel, there really isn't anything about the hotel that is praise worthy. 1) The lift does no require any keycard, so you could have people loitering around and raising security concerns. 2) The rooms are poorly furnished and the cleanliness felt very suspect. Wardrobes, furniture etc felt extremely dated and dirty. The plugs around the bed were non-international, the water tasted funny and the room overall just felt underwhelming. 3) Breakfast spread was ok but the rice was not cooked through. Truly would not come back to the hotel and will advise people around me to not go to it either.

I stayed at Novotel Siam Square on Sunday night, November 10th, in room 1301, a corner room. The issue was that the bathroom had a musty smell. From the moment I entered, the smell was noticeable, and when I stepped into the shower box, it became even more intense. However, since it was already late when I realized the issue, I didn’t request a room change that night. On Monday morning, November 11th, I reported the issue to the front desk staff. However, when I returned at 7 PM, I found no note regarding any inspection, and the smell in the bathroom remained the same with no changes. I had to go down to the front desk to follow up and request a room change. In fact, the housekeeping staff should have been aware of this abnormality and taken the room out of service until the issue was fully resolved. Furthermore, as a Gold Member, I’m unsure whether this was an "upgraded" room or a punishment to endure such discomfort.
