Our last stay here was better. Despite the renovation, there were still some issues with the property. The door of one of our rooms could not be latched properly and was only addressed after our feedback and rectification from engineering. This should have been picked up by housekeeping when they were preparing the room. There is also a rather noticeable presence of mosquitoes in the bar sitting area. While Bangkok is in the tropics, the large number of mosquitoes in an indoor area suggests some mosquito breeding nearby. This needs to be investigated.

but the new lounge feels less vibrant, and the food and beverage offerings seem to have dropped compared to before. Also the elevator was out of service a couple of times during my stay, which caused delays

The location is excellent right beside Siam square and opposite Siam paragon. BTS is also a stone throw, too many shopping & food around and we don’t need to go out of the area. There’s a row of massage spa next door. Room size is good. Although basic, it’s value for money. Room upgrade for Gold members and late check out is great!

The staff were very friendly, especially Tent and Pear. The hotel is conveniently located just a minute away from Siam Station, and the room was clean.
