As a member of your hotel chain, I would have preferred a quiet room, as requested on my reservation. Due to the noise on the street (voices of people) in front of the hotel, and the bad isolation of the windows, even on the 7th floor (Rm 728, the noise is actually worse on the higher floors) I unfortunately had a sleepless night. The concierge tried to find another room, but was kind to bring me ear plugs at 2am (which did not help at all).

Hotel and facilities are fine and I stay there regularly. Some rooms are clearly better than others. This room smelled, and the bathroom in particular had paint peeling from the ceiling, the flush on the toilet was basically broken and generally required a full refresh.

Good location for Gare de Lyon. However, some rooms are now very tired, with various broken bit. In our room the shower whistled and you could only drain the shower water out of the bath by physically holding up the plug. Breakfast adequate but would be better to have teabags rather than having to make your own.
