perfectly located near union station and walkable to the distillery district . Wonderfully decorated for Chistmas. The room was modern and comfotable. The Nicole restaurant is good value.

We come here often by train from London, to go to the theatres and St. Lawrence Market. The Distillery District is also a must see to walk around, especially during the Xmas season. The Novotel is always our choice because the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly, especially the restaurant staff! They take their time to talk with you and make sure you have everything you need. The breakfast buffet is fantastic as well. Location is close to the train station, shopping, and a good choice of restaurants and cafes.

Upon arrival at the hotel at 12 noon, I asked if my room was ready which they advised it was but wanted $80 to check into the room early. I have never been asked to pay a fee for early check-in if my room was ready. I understand guaranteed early check-in or late checkout but to charge someone to get access to their room even though the room is ready is absurd. There was spider nests two of them above the curtains in my room and black mould in the shower. I had left the Westin Harbour Castle to come to this hotel… The Novotel was $100 more than the Westin with an agent rate so I was expecting something good and it was below par. I will never stay at this hotel again
