From the moment we arrived at Novotel Toronto Central, it was an absolutely fabulous stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the reception’s aroma was simply incredible, giving it a unique edge. The rooms were stunningly gorgeous and all the extras, including Rituals in-room amenities, were simply fabulous. The bar and breakfast experience were next level, with Veronica on the bar crafting the most exquisite cocktails. I would highly recommend this hotel as one of the best stays. While the parking is a bit tight for larger cars, it’s easily located under the hotel and everything else Toronto has to offer is well within walking distance. I felt like an extremely valued Accor member, and I extend my compliments to all the staff for upholding the brand in a truly fabulous manner.

All was pretty well: nice desk & cafe staff, clean. The eggs at breakfast looked good but did not taste good. Despite being gone from our room from 8:30am through 2pm and having a tag on the door to indicate we would like cleaning service, the housekeeping staff did not make it to our room to clean and refresh needed items. We didn’t bother to try to get that done after we arrived back, but I was not happy about that.

The hotel staff were very friendly upon check in, quick and easy....the king room that we got was massive, clean, and the bathroom was well stocked with towels, shower gels, shampoos etc. Also had a kettle and coffee machine which was nice. Large tv and a comfortable bed. Loads of bedside sockets to plug into also. Breakfast was buffet style, help yourself, absolutely loads to choose from and the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us! Stayed for 4 nights and the service was fantastic throughout. Checkout was also quick and easy and no problem with luggage storage until it was time to leave. 10/10 and would highly recommend as the location is great for easy walks to St Lawrence Market, CN tower, harbour front etc. Will definitely stay here again when back in Toronto!

Overall a good stay in a contemporary, clean and well fitted out hotel, but a bit soleless. The room was very good, other than a few niggling points; the view of a multi-storey car park and overlooked by an apartment block, the inevitable poor lighting design that lacked a single kill-switch by the bed to turn off all lights in the room, and the absence of any English breakfast tea bags in the room. The most disapointing part of the stay was the totally soleless restuarant/bar. In the evening it was always virtually empty. Even on the night when there was live music, we noticed the musician packing up just after 8pm.

Everything was great except for two observations. The concierge recommended two chain restaurants, which are not great when I asked for some great dinner recommendations. I'd think most would be looking for a more local, cool Toronto vibe. Also, my room was on the 2nd floor and the outside music was incredibly loud for a Monday night trying to get to sleep before a work day

My friend and I were in Toronto for a concert. My husband and I stayed here last month for a concert too. It's a short walk to Scotia Bank Arena and lots of great places to eat. The street was quiet, no night time noise. Room was good, could use a bit more attention to bathroom cleaning (previous guests "things" left). Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Our room included breakfast. It was enough for us to start our day. All the wait staff were very friendly and made sure you had all you needed. Will definitely return.

A little disappointed would be my first reaction. They did not honor the Accor deal for Platinum members, like most of the associated hotels in the US. Reception was under staffed. I called the switch 3 times without answer. I went down to find only one person working at the desk. It was only 7:30pm. What would happen if it was an emergency? Bar staff were great, as was the food in the restaurant. Room was clean and large, no real views. Gym was reasonable, equipment in good shape.

Other than the check in process, the staff was great. We especially loved Ukrainian Wait person in the dining hall in the morning. Sorry, we do not remember her name, but she was fantastic.

The location is fantastic! I loved going to the St. Lawrence market (300 meters away), a very good variety of restaurants in the area, and a grocery store next door. It is in a charming area, and located walking distance to the CN Tower, Union Station, and many attractions. Very friendly staff, and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and comfortable (the thermostat was very easy to use). The hotel restaurant was excellent! The morning breakfast had everything one would want to get the day going with an amazing buffet, and the most positive staff to get your day off to a good start! I would go back given the chance.
