Went to Toronto for a family trip. The location was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful making recommendations for restaurants, attractions, arranging transportation and storing our luggage after checkout. There was a range of food available at the breakfast buffet and the staff was cordial and attentive. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Problems at checkout

At checkout I asked if I could use an alternative card to pay my bill which would have cost me much less in fees, but I was told that an amount had already been taken from a different card. I asked if it could be refunded so that I could pay the full amount with my preferred card but this seemed to be a problem for the person dealing with me. Had I been able to pay the full amount with the card of my choice, I would have avoided just short of CAD 71 in transaction fees to UK pounds. I can’t see how it would make any difference to yourselves which card I paid with. Then I questioned my final bill and realised that I had I had been overcharged. I was checking out one day early but I had been charged for the extra night even so. This was refunded, but only once I pointed out the mistake.
