Overall, the stay at the hotel was very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the pre check in made the arrival process almost instant. The room looked nice. In a few areas you could notice signs of recent renovation, but nothing that affected the comfort. There were no unpleasant smells. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and very bright. Bathrobes and slippers were provided upon request for the pool, which was a nice touch. At night it was quiet, and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was quite limited and did not really match the level and location of the hotel, but overall it was acceptable.

The hotel is nice and the facilities are satisfactory but our greeting by the reception was not ideal. We were not recognized as premium card holder and was not upgraded; the gentleman treated us like everyone that walked to the reception. The restaurant was seriously under staffed the Sunday when we had dinner there; we waited half hour till we ordered and another 45-50 min. till we got our order and it was much too cooked the steak. All these time, we needed to chase our waiter for service. Our housekeeping was quite good, on the other hand.

We agree this should have been properly explained during check-in, and we apologize for the oversight. We are also sorry for the long wait times and service issues you experienced in the restaurant. Well, I was slightly disappointed that I was unable to use my CAA card for a senior discount. I was informed I booked through a 3rd party option. I should have asked for the Manager and requested further. I hesitated to make a scene. Next time, I will request calmly. If I recall, I did book via the hotel's site. The onsite restaurant was ideal. The room was perfect for us.
