I had a short but very busy stay in Toronto, so was not in the hotel much. Good experience with all the staff, though, and enjoyable stay.

Good room with partial view of the lake; excellent service; concierge knew answers to questions, decor in lobby tasteful, liked privacy of seating in the bar. Appreciated the gift of a drink in the bar and enjoyed the bar food very much. Overall a ver pleasant place to stay and will choose it again on a future trip.

As always staff are excellent. Friendly greetings and ready to help anytime. Why does your hotel not have better sport channels - looks like you cheap out on getting the main TSN and Sportsnet channel. This main channels carry the important games on basketball and hockey. Every time I arrive, I dread a little bit the trip upstairs with bags. I know you have a bag service, but I still want to carry my computer and other bag with me to reception and then to my room. With the multi-million dollar renos... I cannot fathom why Fairmont would not have designed a way to have a ramp. Fairmont did it for the reception area. Very nice.

overall experience was good. I didnt find the rooms were well sound proofed, I could hear the room next to me quite well especially at night. Otherwise the room was comfortable.

The hotel lobby and restaurant (Reign) renovation is stunning and has the best ambience. All of the staff were helpful, professional and accommodating. The hotel and amenities were very clean. The only downside was that the room renovation was not a full reno so the bathtub was showing some age around the drain and overall a bit of a dated aesthetic. Would definitely recommend.

I found the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. I received a complimentary breakfast due to steam room issue...it was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel. Nights were quite quiet. Room service was prompt and food was great.

Everything in our room was great and so was the staff . The $30 a day extra charge is a bit archaic and bogus don’t you think ? What does it cover ? The Wifi....really . In this day and age wifi should be free with your stay .

It is a fee charged in addition to the base room rate when reservations are booked through Expedia, Booking.com or similar third party websites that bundles our hotel’s most sought-after amenities and eliminates individual charges along with providing a discounted value for some services. Guests may opt-out of this fee during check in, which forfeits the opportunity to redeem the valued benefits in a bundle. Without detracting my concern for what has been shared, rest assured your feedback is taken seriously and has been reviewed by our management team. I apologize for lapse in communication at time of check-in. Was very happy with my check-in in fact my room was ready extremely early with no additional fee, service is always phenomenal . My only issue was it seemed several parties were taking place at night in the rooms with noise till 4am and no action taken about this .

Attended a conference/event at The Royal York. Check in was a bit lengthy. Room in older part of hotel, small without a digital thermostat. Very few lights in the room, and the bathroom was lacking a make up mirror. Overall, fine stay.

I found the hotel looked tired. The service was not what I would normally expect from such a hotel. I didn't really feel like a welcomed guest.
