always have a great stay at the Fairmont—this was my 3rd visit, and it continues to exceed expectations. The staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes every stay feel special. My partner travels up from the U.S., and we truly cherish our time here together. The Fairmont has become a meaningful part of our relationship. It’s more than just a place to stay it’s somewhere we come to relax, reconnect, and create memories. I live in Toronto and I find myself returning even when my partner is not here just to sit in the lobby bar for a small bite and a drink for the memories. The service is always excellent, and I was especially impressed by the beautiful new gym it was such a pleasant surprise this time around. Thank you for consistently providing such a wonderful experience. We look forward to many more stays.

Hello sir , I normally have enjoyed my stay with fairmont hotels , I have to say this last time in Toronto staying at this hotel was absolutely the worst I have never felt more like it was a money grab from the get go , started off by realizing there were a ton or Reno's going on going dwn stairs to up stairs etc poor communication by everyone on how to find the place to get keys , I was ushered to a small desk by a man with glasses very smug as it turns out I had booked on Hotwire and inadvertently booked the 24wich was a Thursday so as the person with the glasses states ( you were a no show ) he new we had not stayed but absolutely no Help on knowing we needed a place for we were taking my autistic son to his first blue jays game he has nothing he can do but throws up a room for 399plus tax ( for wich I go is that the best you can do for me in that I already paid for a stay that we did not stay in ? He goes yes .i proceed to pull up Hotwire and regardless his smug attitude I was going any where but the fairmont I showed him the price worked out too 200$ and I said I'm pretty sure it's going to give me the fairmont again he goes no nothing I press the button on phone we get the fairmont but he absolutely wanted to do nothing for me I was chocked ....he knew there were 2people he say sits a king when I ask is there a double bed possible ? He says for 180$ more I can have a double bed room , I said I will pass? Then I ask if I can get a cot brought up to the room he says that the room is too small for a cot(bullshit) every where i turn with this goof he wants to make it as difficult as he can (kinda like when your driving and need to change lanes and the other driver speeds up to not allow you to change lanes that analogy sums your employees demeanour and then to rub salt in the wound he buys us in the very far back of the hotel with the longest run on 7th floor232 I think but not only the furthest from the elevator but beside a service elevator no less lol (bucking prick !) I spent 300$ and Change for some drinks in the hotel and probly had the best lobster linguine any where and I am well travelled it was amazing ....I expect nothing to come of this but I have stayed at fairmont from Vancouver several times all properties the customer service from this goof was on another level of how to chase a valuable customer away it was a text book lesson ......you asked for the review this was my experience warts and all at the York in Toronto Nelson Delbert T. 25… Ne…
