I came for 10 days at Novotel Vaughn the very first night I stayed I ordered breakfast and it was wet and salty I told them that I didn’t like the food and that they could bring it back when the chef came to take the food he said that we would have to pay for the 2 pieces of bacon we ate and I agreed even though I’ve never heard of that at any restaurant but fine. And so then he took it back and a man called us and said that our food is fine nothing is wrong with it that it’s just moist and I told him that I didn’t like the moist and I didn’t want it and he said again well there’s nothing wrong with it and we’ve never got a complaint before so I said okay well I would like a refund they refunded the item and they told me again that there was nothing wrong with the food. The second night we ordered they told us we could not get the food on the room so we told them to cancel the order because we didn’t have the money on us and it’s weird because my credit card was on the room so why wouldn’t they be able to charge it to my room ? And then they came up 10 mins later and brought us our food then they told us that we could take it this time and I said it’s been 10 mins the food is now cold I don’t want it you told us we could not get it . Then he yelled and said I’m going to tell the manager I was so confused because they literally just denied the food 10’mins ago but now there bringing it to my room ? So then when we were checking out the manager tried to charge us for the bill and we said we didn’t eat the food then she called the kitchen manager and he said that this is our second time complaining. But the first time the food was bad and the second time they told us we could not get the food I was mad and he told us “do us a favour and just don’t order from here again” the service here is terrible from staff and the only person that made my life easier was oksana I already lost my house and now I’m going hotel to hotel i dont need staff to make me feel worse and make my life harder as I’m already going through my own person matters and I should be allowed to be happy at a hotel where I pay 100 a night

Great location, safe & really clean rooms. All of the people are helpful and very accomodating, especially the housekeeping. Its a home, away from home.

The stay was great. My only concern was the food. The reason we kept coming back was the chef. Now the food experience was not good at all. I don't know if it's because we are in a pandemic or change if chef. But we did not enjoy our dinner. Please if possible the chef before needs to come back if he is gone. Please but overall stay is always welcoming and positive
