The indian guy on the front desk when i checked in at 7:30pm was not pleasant and not welcoming. I noticed he was only pleasant if he is talking to a woman or light skin guests .I felt discriminated, he needs to learn to show good customer service to any guest at the hotel regardless of gender and race. However the guy I encountered when i checked out at 4:00am was very nice, pleasant and showed great customer service. The hotel itself is nice though the paint on the ceiling in my bathroom is starting to worn and peeling off. The trio restaurant is nice and the food is good.

I specifically went to Vaughan to shop at Vaughan Mills. Novotel Toronto Vaughan is conveniently located across the street from section 6 of the mall. There’s a set of lights that made it easy being seconds away. I was always greeted by a front desk attendant. They were helpful with all my questions. The only concern I have is the lack of signage for stairs and fire exits.
