This Novotel is modern and clean, with friendly staff and good amenities. It's located on a quiet street in an otherwise bustling part of the city with access to restaurants, parks and transit. There were some cleanliness issues with our room though as one of the provided bathrobes had a brown stain on it and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned. It's also important to note that parking is not included and costs an extra $23 per night. Overall I would still likely stay here again if I needed a hotel in this part of the city.

I had a great stay at Novotel. Everything was clean and the location right above the subway and North York Centre was very good. The front desk staff was so kind and never failed to greet me whenever I passed by. I enjoyed the pool and the gym a lot as well (except the ellipticals were either not working or I could not understand how to get them to start). I wish the breakfast had been included but I appreciated the ease of just having it charged to the room.

I stayed at the Hotel to attend a Wedding During the World Cup, so it was difficult to find a hotel, and this was one I found, and it was really nice for a hotel a little out from the city center. It began when I was booking the hotel back in February 2026 and Mariia (front desk supervisor) was excellent. She recommended the rooms based on what I had asked and Mariia recommended the Executive Room with the King Bed. I reserved two rooms for myself, and my daughter and they were really quite nice. This is not a 5-star hotel, but it is a very nice business hotel that is probably a 4-star hotel. The rooms, although not large, were very nice and comfortable and well appointed. Mariia had emailed photos of the Executive rooms, and I wanted ones on a higher floor with the class showers and not one of the ones with the bath and curtain shower. Thes have the yellow cushions chairs but the room and newly updated and I was not disappointed. My only slight issue was the class does not cover the whole frame of shower, so it is easy to get water on the bathroom floor. However the share was had nice pressure and hot, which is what I like so I was very happy overall. The room is well appointed, so I was happy (and so was my daughter). The staff were all excellent. Every single staff member went over and above to make sure we had a great time. Friendly, helpful and always smiling. I felt at home. At breakfast the lady who helped me went over and above. She made me separate oatmeal because I like it think and brought everything I requested to the table we sat at even though we opted for the buffet. If you do not want to be downtown in the hassle and bustle, this is a great choice. It has large, attached parking garage and the metro station is a minute walk, all inside the center and it only takes about 40 minutes to be in the heat of downtown Toronto buy train. When I return to Toronto, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

There are several annoying issues in the guest room: 1) The light switch to the bathroom is hidden behind the open bathroom door. 2) No separate sheet on the bed. 3) The desk light had no detectable way to turn it on. 4) There was a large stain on the carpet. 5) The TV is very inconvenient to operate. 6) There needs to be a more convenient way to operate the main room light other than from the doorway. 7) There are no hooks or the like to hang up a towel or clothing in the bathroom. The hotel's location is highly convenient and the rooms are very clean. However, even though we checked in at 5:00 PM, the process took 45 minutes. To make matters worse, we were told the room was not ready yet and had to wait another 20 minutes for confirmation. Since the standard check-in time is 3:00 PM, having to wait over an hour to get a room at 6:10PM is completely unacceptable and unreasonable.
