Great location, within walking distance to town centre and perfect connection to the airport by train. The hotel staff are extra friendly and very nice. The room was specious, clean and warm.

We stayed at Mercure Muenchen City Center for 7 nights. The room was a 2 story room and we loved it. The hotel was easy to find from the Central Train Station. It is about a 3-4 minute walk. There were always people walking down the street, but that is how you get around. We always felt safe. We did not have any issues with noise from the train station or anything else. The temperature was in the mid 40's so we did not have the windows opened. We never had to operate the heat. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had our breakfast included which was very convenient. There was a good variety of food. Eggs, bacon, different sausages, fruits, breads, meat & cheeses...plus more. It is about 4-5 blocks from Center City. There is a Lidl's at the end of the street for shopping, and small restaurants near. We spent most of our time walking around Center City. Overall i thought this was a great place to stay.

Good location, nice stay

The hotel is close to the Central station, so it's easy to get there from the airport, for example. The room was warm, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great and whenever we needed something, we were helped. A bathtub would have been nice, but I am not sure if they are that popular anymore. Slight minus from wall-to-wall carpeting and very slippery sheets, which did not want to stay put all night!

My first time in Munich and we were super satisfied with the Mercure hotel! Absolutely lovely staff (especially the young gentleman who helped us with the parking situation from the evening reception staff). Loved also the selection at breakfast and overall the atmosphere, room, cleanliness... we were also without any further issue granted a later checkout which was also a lovely bonus :)
