We really love the bed, it was very comfortable. We regreted for not staying longer and book higher type. But our room was already beyond perfect. So we wonder how will higher room type would give. I would really recommend the hotel.

First off, was told I had to pay extra for breakfast at check-in. Then that I had to pay hotel tax. I subsequently checked my reservation - made directly through the hotel website. Breakfast WAS included and I had PAID the city tax as part of the booking. This was refunded to me when I complained but I do not expect this poor level of professionalism from a decent hotel. Also, on plugging charger into room power socket there was a big spark and the lighting all went - fuse blown. On raising this at reception an employee reset the trip switch and checked it didn’t happen again when plugging the charger in - but really there seemed an astonishing lack of concern for safety.

Being a Diamond member of ALL - staying 95% of the time in 5 Star hotels - I would put myself into the position to be able to compare standards. The staff at the breakfast had been amazingly helpful and supportive. Super good. Unfortunately the staff at the reception hat been not according to the standards I am used from MGallery. It was not only the friendliness but the attitude that showed kind of no-interest at all. This is definetly something to be improved in the Grand Hotel Bregenz.

The overall hotel is great, the rooms are a little dated and we had an issue with the ventilation and could not be fixed but the staff was very nice and were worried and tried their best ti make the rest of the stay enjoyable

As a wheelchair driver with limited mobility I made sure I'd rent a fully accessible room with wheelchair accessible bathroom near the Bregenz Seebühne. Well, the only positive aspect of our stay was the close location of the hotel to the venue.

A fantastic place to stay, right next to the lakeside stage for the Bregenzer Festspiele. The decor of the hotel was very attractive, our room was in perfect good order and spotlessly clean. We loved the comfy beds, the crisp quality bed linen, and the guests' gifts and services - valet parking, a glass of prosecco on arrival and in our room a small box of praline chocolates, mineral water, a bottle of refreshing cordial, fruit, and even a diploma as discerning guests - which all gave us the feeling that we were valued and appreciated guests. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

It was a wonderful trip for the Bregenzer Festspiele, the staff was so friendly (especially Ibrahim the concierge, Effy and Johanna from the catering), the location is just incredible especially with a dog its so comfortable, the rooms air-conditioned, the breakfast so delicious and beautiful with the terrace. We definitely will come back as it was a fantastic little holiday! The only thing to improve would be the bar: the waiters seem completely overwhelmed with the amount of people and weren't able to greet customers or take their orders, which is a bit of a shame, as a few people left because they weren't acknowledged or served for some time.

Every other year, we go see the opera on the Seebühne and stay at the hotel. I make sure to reserve a suite so that my husband can work in the separate area and not wake me up, I also like a bathrrom with two sinks and separate wc. I got confirmation by email as I wrote to make sure. The day of our arrival, I was told there had been a double booking and that I (not the other guest) was being down graded to an executive room. These rooms have no separate area and small one sink bathrooms. It was too late to change our plans. The hotel manager did what he could: price reduction, free breakfast, points and, mots importantly, apologized. He did the best possible .We are not happy not to have been warned in advance so we could perhaps have found another hotel and also that we are the ones being downgraded. The manager did help but we have a bitter taste.

Room: terrible Lighting throu, AC will not switch off, taps and sink bad design - too much splashing on clothes, no light for make-up.
