Absolutely disgusting. I booked a flexible rate at the hotel which I forgot to cancel in the last moment. Obviously the room was charged but they didn't apply points nor night towards my status! I messaged the hotel and the answer was you don't get that if you forgot to cancel. So, what is the difference between a night charged and not stayed apart from less work for the hotel? Don't charge customer if you don't give absolutely nothing in return!

Had a great 2 night stay here, awaiting our sons return home from the World Cup in Qatar, the friendly atmosphere at the bar in particular from Dorota, who was really welcoming and polite, the food also was fantastic and we’d like to thank the chef Jason for putting such effort into it and making our stay a lot easier. The food is beautiful, Thank you all, see you all Again very soon

Professional handling with clients Drino and Leo were really professional. I missed my flight and didn’t find any way to come to the hotel and I was really mad, unfortunately I yelled at them on phone and when I arrived I apologized to them as they were really professional and I was rude to them.

Vending let's you down but Tony doesn't.

After a 4 hour coach journey and waiting 40 minutes for a hotel hoppa bus I just wanted to put everything in my room and grab some food. Checking in was quick but a bit quiet...no welcome to the Ibis..just a how can I help you and that was about it except for which floor would you like.Luckily then the receptionists changed over and I obviously got the young lady who didn't have to work on her smile,easily booked me a taxi and sent me on my way. My room was as expected,clean,tidy,TV,tea and coffee ,what more do you need really and for £55 I was more than happy. A quick visit to get some food and I met a memorable young man,Tony working behind the bar. Being a solo traveller I asked what I did to sit and have food.Everything is solved with a smile,a gentle voice and being treated as if I mattered.Move on to my soda water and lime coming...if you'd like to taste it then I can always add more lime...where did they find him and can he be cloned! I wanted to take a Tony home at this point. The food was good and hot and then it was time to pay.Ibis is a cashless hotel...so I asked Tony how I leave a tip? Is it added on the bill or can I leave cash on the table? Apparently not...obviously it hasn't been thought through properly.Knowing hotel workers aren't on the biggest of wages I'd like to think I could reward good service but how? Perhaps Ibis can have a look at that it seems very unfair. I certainly needed a smidgeon of chocolate to watch TV with so made my way to the vending machine .No instructions as usual but I bought my chocolate eventually and would have made my way upstairs except that It didn't actually drop down so I could take it! On asking at reception I was told it was independently owned and not operated by Ibis...so I couldn't be helped! Chocolateless I made my way up. So the rule of thumb is mosey over to Tony at the bar as I've decided he's the best one to set the tone...he can make a bad day a good one and completely rescues your Ibis experience on his own.Thankyou Tony.

The food in the restaurant was fabulous. I had the green Thai curry one of the best I have had. The restaurant staff extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself a little tired but really good value for money as close to the airport.
