Everything and everyone was excellent and we felt very COVID safe. All the services we use were of a very high standard. We managed to get a free upgrade but I don’t think a lower room could have been any better. Thank you

An easy walk from Terminal 5. Quick and efficient check-in, the staff were very helpful and eager in explaining hotel amenities and offering assistance with our luggage and directions to the lifts and our room. Our room was clean, comfortable and met all our needs, I definitely enjoyed the lounging chair, always a plus for me. Check-out was easy as we headed to Terminal 5 for our next destination the next morning.

Last time we were there it was the half size portion of fish & chips in the bar for £22 + service charge (absolutely ridiculous) - I didn’t even bother to fill in the survey after that stay. This time our King Club room was a twin!!! Even reception had it on their system as a king. Also the Club offering for ‘happy hour’ isn’t acceptable. Squid, olives, nuts, 2 prawn crackers - cheap and stingy. Stop using covid as an excuse to not open your lounge back up. Only positive was the man serving the drinks in the Club (very attentive and accommodating). Nice to chat to Sam too. Also disappointing was the ‘amazing’ breakfast we normally have which was far from that. Latte was cold and sent back, buffet offerings were luke warm - toast was hot though but that’s because I made it myself!!! Hopefully things will improve in time for our next stay (which is only because we regularly fly in/out of T5)….

Booked two rooms for myself, my wife, our son and grandchildren aged 7 and 8. Having stayed at Sofitel several times and always finding excellent service, this was a disappointment in some respects. We had asked for a child's bed in each room and were told on checking in that this had been done. In fact only one was in place and the second never did arrive despite several requests. Excellent service in the bar, however, where they provided drinks for the children free of charge.

i stayed in this hotel as a transit for couple of hours in heathrow T5, it was really an excellent comfortable stay, the room was nice and quite, the hotel is just few steps in the terminal, with 5 stars facilities, definitely i will return back again.

Exceptional service from start to finish, some of the best we have had over many years of travel, the bar staff were very good indeed, the breakfast waiters were just exceptional especially Kamaljit, the room was excellent and a special thank you to the porter who brought our luggage to the room, I had no UK cash and he was fine.

Service not up to standard

We have regularly stayed at this hotel because of its convenience to Heathrow T5 and have enjoyed our stays. However on this occasion we quickly ran out of toilet paper/ tissues of which there was a minimal amount when we arrived. Could not get through to housekeeping so called reception who said it would be replenished soon! After waiting until we could hang on no longer had to use the general facilities. A small but important issue that did no credit to the hotel or its staff particularly when we know they can do better. Should this happen again we will find an alternative hotel.

Great hotel, recommend a club room, the extra food & drinks are really good value. Staff very busy due to COVID & Christmas, but service was still excellent. Makes flying from T5 simple. Only criticism is the hotel is very poorly sign-posted from both the terminal and the short stay car park.

An excellent way to end our trip before the flight home. Aartee at the reception provided outstanding service. She was an amazing help and helped distress our journey. Also Schneider (?) Raposo in the lunch room and happy hour bar was super efficient and fun.

Two night stay at Heathrow T5

The staff were really friendly and even coped with a rude customer who was stood not even a meter away from me. The quality of the breakfast was great. The room was spacious as well, and very clean. It is very close to T5, and you can get a free train from T2 to t5, on a regular basis. The quality and facilities on offer were truly great. I would recommend booking the restaurant, as it can get very busy, but the food is great, with plenty of options for all diets.

This is our 25+ stay here before a very long flight . Even under the conditions that are in effect at the moment the hotel provided us what we wanted we when we wanted it, even when they are under pressure from staff shortages. We decided to have room service for dinner and breakfast they arrived on time and hot. What more do you need.

Stayed in December 2021 for a night because we arrived at Heathrow and had to do the PCR test. Hotel pros: 1) unbeatable convenience due to location, only hotel in Heathrow area you can get to just walking, and due to the 24 h availability of the PCR test. 2) Comfy and fancy room with nice bath amenities and complimentary coffe and teas. 3) Kind staff. Specially on the breakfast room. 4) Excellent breakfast. Hotel cons: 1) Sluggish service at the bar and very limited options for wine and food. Everytime I go to a hotel bar I get some crisps as a starter but nothing at this place. It should be included in the menu things like portions of cheese and prosciutto or jamon or fruits and chocolate and more sandwiches. 2) Not enough bar staff to handle the clientele.

Exactly what I needed from an airport hotel. Comfort and ease of getting a early morning flight. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and bathroom was luxury. Wake up call came twice just to make sure I was genuinely awake….that was much appreciated.

Another excellent stay at the best hotel at the airport. We had a lovely room and used our suite upgrade voucher. The stay is always comfortable here however this time some of the team were simply exceptional. The welcome from Pisha at reception was the most genuine one I have experienced. I truly felt like a valued customer. The room was not ready so Pisha escorted me to the restaurant. Fabrizio, the Breakfast manager also offered exceptional service and a genuine welcome. It's always the people that make the difference in any hotel. Jerryson who was on duty in the evening also stood out as exceptional.

We couldn’t fault the staff at the Sofitel Heathrow. From the minute of check-in, breakfast service through to check-out every single member of staff couldn’t do enough to help you enjoy the stay. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, the perfect tonic after an enduring journey. Would definitely recommend! Thank you team Sofitel Heathrow!

Definitely recommend staying here - we parked the car underneath so so convenient and on our return due to a crash on M25 we had something to eat and did not have to drive into the traffic jam - hotel was excellent with lovely comfortable beds and and the rooms and common areas scrupulously clean

First post reopening stay - great to be able to stay here again but has a number of issues to urgently address to get back to previous standards. The good: Fast checkin by helpful member of staff. Room as expected, clean with usual comfortable Sofitel bed. Accor room upgrade, welcome drink and "lounge access" proactively granted. The poor: Whilst the lounge alternative in the Tea Room was appreciated service was slow and not engaging. The offered evening snacks were cheap and unimaginative. Despite Covid I would expect more than a few nuts, olives and a couple of warmed up frozen cheese sticks. Well below what the hotel used to achieve. Service in Vivre was below what the hotel provided in the past. The whole operation seems stressed from the maitre d down. Menu thrown on table without a word being spoke set the flavour. Staff seemed to be working hard but continually having to address service shortfalls across the restaurant. Restaurant and hotel in general seems to understaffed. Shame as the food quality was good. Furniture in Vivre is well past its sell by date, the condition of the restaurant chairs for a Sofitel are a embarrassing.

Nice Hotel but it has lost its Sparkle

Our room was very comfortable and clean which for us is the most important thing. However we paid extra on arrival to use the Club Millesime lounge and it was a huge disappointment. The service was appalling (not enough staff) the canapés were even worse and the room used as the lounge was not particularly nice or comfortable. We have stayed a couple of times at this Sofitel in the past and we remember the lounge as being superb. As always Covid restrictions will be an excuse for the huge downgrading of this facility.

We normally stay at the Sofitel at least 3 timers per year prior &/or after foreign holidays. Covid has prevented our travels so we decided to stay for a few days and use the hotel as a base to travel into London. What a great success. We were spoilt by all the staff, who without exception are friendly, helpful and very professional. Covid safety precautions were exemplary and we felt extremely safe. We were particularly impressed with the service provided by Debra at Reception, and Bogdan. Fabrizio and Jerryson at Le Vivre Restaurant. Our room was spotless and very comfortable and the food uo to the usual high standard and quality. Well done and grateful thanks to everyone at the Sofitel T5 for a wonderful stay. We will be back soon!

Efficient check in, very friendly and helpful. Good night sleep before early flight. So convenient for terminal 5, excellent location. I can strongly recommend for a quick overnight stop before a flight from terminal 5.
