Faced difficulty while connecting to WiFi - this is not the case with other hotels I stayed. Breakfast too has limited options. E.g an egg omlette should have been a default option

Underwhelming. Will choose a different hotel next time. - Long wait at check-in (15+ min) - Inefficient check in process, even with pre check-in already completed - Elevator broken, long waits for the remaining ones (up to 10+ min) - Outdated rooms - No iron/ironing board in the room

I never imagined that the services of the ACCOR network, more precisely NOVOTEL, would decay so much... 4 stars? NO WAY. Not even two! The former LED TV placed on the wall, with a diagonal of at least 108 cm, was "transformed" into one with a diagonal of 80 cm, placed on a table. There is no mention of a shoe rack, slippers in the room, or a mini-fridge. It was explained to me that after the pandemic the mini-fridges were withdrawn. An "eco" glass in the bathroom, in which you cannot hold a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving machine, etc., because the glass has no balance. In the shower, another incredible situation: the tap water was hot, but if you switched to the shower, it was at most 30 degrees. He had to complain, in order to remedy the situation. Otherwise, the maintenance staff does not check if everything is in order! Even the shower gel dispenser had nothing in it. A, used the shampoo from the other distributor. Also, the Nespresso machines in the rooms have completely disappeared!... And all this, for an average of 265 euros per day. As with NOVOTEL Roma Est, it was a serious mistake to call on the NOVOTEL network, although I have been a loyal ACCOR customer for over 30 years! Disgraceful and disgusting behavior of the staff! At breakfast, for convenience, ham, salami (there was none) and cheese are no longer cut into slices, but into small cubes!... It's much faster! And the quality of the coffee is worthy of "a better cause". In conclusion: theft on face, lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. Treating the client as an imbecile consumer appears to me already. to be SHAMEFUL from NOVOTEL!...

The location is perfect, very close to metro/RER/bus station, also to Defense shopping area, very well connected to Paris city center but also to Versailles or other important points. I was here in September and I really enjoyed, so I come back in December but the experience was less satisfying this time, even if I booked an upgraded room (an executive) . The wonderful view over Paris on 14th floor was blocked by the the unclean windows - such a pity... The room was very nice, with an inspired design, a cosy reading place near the window, large screen TV, a good coffee machine (but the used capsules from the first morning have been replaced only the 3rd day). We appreciated the welcoming free soft drinks in the fridge, it was a nice surprise. A special mention is that the hotel is providing free drinking water (warm or hot, still or sparkling) on special dispensers in the lobby area. We love the hotel but this time we felt that it was less welcoming than in September. I really hope next time I will have again that "September feeling" that this is an amazing place with very good services.
