A great hotel in a great location. Rooms spotless, staff friendly, and a great breakfast. Also a TV with BBC!

Pleasant staff but this hotel does not deserve the IBIS name, we were horribly disappointed, the room was ridiculously small, corridors unchanged from 1970s, coach parties and homeless encampment outside the entrance- do not stay here.

Room was as expected, basic but clean. Comfortable bed. Check in quick and straight forward. Was very disappointed with housekeeping entering our room numerous times without even knocking. One time, we had a do not disturb sign on display and housekeeper walked in whilst we were still in bed ! I wouldn't have minded too much if they had at least knocked first. Surprised that there was no facility in room to make tea or coffee as this would be standard in budget chain hotel in the UK, but perhaps this is not standard in France. A shame the bar was only open on weekday evenings - we enjoyed a drink there Friday night and would have liked to have done this following nights but it was closed. Bar man was brilliant. Ideal that we could store our luggage as we had a very late flight on departure day. Pleased that it was a free service too. We would use this hotel again - only real concern was housekeeping entering the room without knocking first.

Entering a room without knocking, especially when a “Do Not Disturb” sign is displayed, is not acceptable and does not reflect our procedures. Please accept our sincere apologies. This matter will be addressed with the team to ensure it does not happen again. Regarding the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room, this corresponds to our three-star brand standards in France, though we understand that expectations may differ from the UK. As for the bar, it is indeed closed on weekends, and we appreciate your kind words about our bartender.
