The location of this hotel is fantastic. It’s a shame the room is a tiny throwback to the 90’s in desperate need of renovation. The shower was broken but repaired the next day. The water ran hot & cold. Absolutely terrible. The surly receptionist insisted we were at the wrong hotel at check in until I showed him my confirmation email. The bar was closed most of the time, even on a Saturday night. Would never stay here again!

Regarding the bar, we understand your disappointment, as it is closed at weekends. Apart from a minor mix up over the booking fee - since remedied, the hotel was perfect. The location couldn't be better. The room was comfortable with a decent size bathroom, and the room was serviced daily. The breakfast area is spacious with plenty of food available on a self serve basis. The staff were really polite and friendly. An excellent break.

Good overall experience with great staff. But there was too much noise in the room coming from either the corridor or the neighboring rooms - I had the impression movers were active on the floor above mine all the time.
