Bad smell in the room, broken elevators

Worst hotel stay in my entire life. The hotel smelled musty, the room had a horrible smell of sewage and I asked for it to be changed. The other room had broken furniture and even though I informed reception, I was informed that there were no other rooms available. The elevator was broken for the entire period, and I had to go down and up stairs to access the seventh floor.

Good location - Nice Bed - Nice Room

This was my third stay at Ibis Montmartre the previous being 2018 and 2017 . It is a good location the rooms are quite good including comfy bed. I will say in terms of the quality of certain things it has deteriorated. Specifically the three lifts. There was always a bit of a wait in the mornings but there was one lift permanently out of order and another that was intermittently out of order - the one that seemed to work had the close door button missing. Again, it’s a great location and I would most likely stay again, just some things have been left unchecked.

Booked a “stasher” to leave our bags at reception whilst going to Moulin Rouge. Hotel bar was just opening so we had a couple of cocktails. My daughter’s favourite wasn’t on the menu but “Son” the bartender said it was no problem and proceeded to make the perfect pornstar martini. A great relaxed atmosphere with excellent service

Great location and easy for a city break. 2 mins away from Moulin Rouge. But the hotel lacked some key fundamentals. Firstly no bin, no kettle. Our shower head was broken and wouldn’t stay up so had to hold it to wash our hair. Which wasn’t great! We forgot our key card in our room and went downstairs to collect a new card and wasn’t asked our name or anything. Which for 2 young travellers made us feel unsafe knowing anyone could have got a key for our room. Despite this, good free water refilling tap and a luggage store.

I know that's Paris but for that price it remains tough to see what you get. What we did appreciate is the bedding. Excellent We thought being sound isolated from exterior, except that there's noise inside the hotel Room is small not too many plugs, and no coffee when vending machines are outrageously expensive Not dirty but not giving a cleanliness impression And the desk staff is not excessively courteous
