We sincerely apologize that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We understand your concerns regarding the condition of some of our older rooms and appreciate your feedback that these areas would benefit from refurbishment. We also acknowledge your comments regarding the swimming pool and understand that its size may not feel sufficient for the overall scale of the resort. We are equally sorry to hear about your breakfast experience, particularly the buffet items being left empty for an extended period. An old hotel with half of the wing of the room are old and need refurbish. The swimming pool is too small for such a big hotel. The breakfast also had many of the buffet left empty for a quite some time.

We went during school vacation with the expectation to have our kids be able to enjoy the playground facilities, and not need to get out of the hotel. However, the facilities were closed and not available. The petting farm was only available for feeding in the morning, even though the sign says that there is also an afternoon feeding time.. Luckily our kids could still enjoy their time, but it was still disappointing that the promised facilities were not available.

A special thank you to Mr. Ricardo for allowing an early check-in at 12:00. it was incredibly helpful after my long drive from Yogyakarta to Bogor. I also want to commend the female staff member who delivered a cake to my room. She was exceptionally professional, informative, and had a wonderful, positive attitude. When I went for breakfast, I picked a table, but there were still dirty plates left from the previous guest. I had to wait for quite a while and eventually had to ask to staff for clear it because the restaurant was understaffed.

Check-in took 1 hour, the room cleanliness was less than perfect: 1. There were still broken glass on the floor, hurting my child's feet. 2. There were many cobwebs on the room ornaments. 3. The bathroom sink area was still dirty, there was brown sediment on the neck of the soap and lotion bottles. 4. The shower area floor was very slippery, very dangerous for children. Not to mention the rules regarding field bookings which are unclear and not communicated from the start, and there are indications that the field was occupied by one particular guest for 2 consecutive days, resulting in disappointment for other guests who also wanted to use the field. The pool is also not very clean, the water is a bit cloudy and there is a lot of dry leaf litter at the bottom of the pool. The breakfast situation was also less than pleasant. The staff wasn't prompt in cleaning the tables after use, resulting in flies flying around them. Furthermore, when food ran out, it wasn't promptly refilled. In short, it's a shame that, considering the newly renovated rooms, the cleanliness is still lacking. Also, the alertness and responsiveness of the hotel, restaurant, and pool area staff seemed inadequate to handle busy situations like the recent school holidays. Hopefully, things will improve in the future.

Loving the Resort. I visited Novotel Bogor again after my last visit in 2018. The Resort has changed a lot after the renovation. It is so much more serene, cleaner, brighter, and cozier. Loving the Indonesian, Javanese - Balinese, design and architecture of the Resort. There is so much outdoor, green spaces in this Resort, that brings that peaceful, zen, relax atmosphere. I think this Resort is a good option for those who are looking for a nearby week-end getaway just to relax and unwind, or spend a great family time with outdoor activities (basketball, pingpong, tennis, swimming, outdoor playground, walking, bicycling). The price is also relatively affordable for the quality and the amenities that you can get. However, for those who are not up to listening children laughing and screaming around over your week-end stay, you may want to reconsider staying here during the week-end, because for sure there are a lot of families with young kids staying at this Resort.

Checkin was good, however no welcome drink offered to us. We had two rooms side by side. The rooms are tidy and clean. Brakfast was good. the pools is small but ok. overall is good, however there are no tootbrush available and we need to request it wihich was annoying.

The staff were friendly, the check-in process was smooth, and the hotel's facilities met my expectations. However, I was disappointed because the room I received did not match the photos shown on the Accor app. The room appeared to be an older version, with a noticeably different design and condition from what was advertised. Since I booked based on the images provided, this created a gap between my expectations and the actual experience. If there are multiple versions of the same room category, I believe the hotel and Accor should clearly display representative photos of each version or provide a note explaining that the room design may vary. This would help guests make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary disappointment upon arrival. I hope Novotel Bogor and Accor will improve the accuracy and transparency of their room listings. Clear and honest room representations are essential to maintaining guest trust and ensuring a consistently positive experience.
