I am truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the condition of the rooms, the use of your drink vouchers, and several service touchpoints throughout your stay. I understand that our Guest Experience Manager is currently in contact with you to better understand your feedback and address your concerns. Following your advice, we have identified that the Loyalty points for your second room were not correctly calculated. This matter has now been escalated as a matter of urgency by our Guest Experience Manager to the external Loyalty team for review and correction. I am truly sorry to learn that your experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star Sofitel hotel, despite our prime location. Your comments regarding the condition of the room, balcony, bathroom, and overall maintenance are concerning and clearly fall short of the standards we strive to uphold. I am particularly disappointed to learn of your experience at reception. While our team members may occasionally converse in French, this should never make a guest feel excluded or uncomfortable, and I sincerely apologise if this interaction gave that impression. This is not reflective of the inclusive and respectful service we expect from our colleagues. Your feedback regarding room categorisation and ocean view expectations is also acknowledged, and we recognise the importance of clearly aligning descriptions with guest experience.
