Elanor from the reception greeted us this morning at 7 am and was absolutely charming and even allowed us to park our car in front of the hotel . She must not have realised that the French tend to sit and eat much longer than others and it did not occur to us to tell her. Mea culpa. 2 hours later when we returned to our car we found a note from the police telling us that we were not allowed to park in front of the hotel more than 10 minutes. I spoke to Michael, I believe he was the concierge and apologised for the trouble we may have caused. Michael could not have been more gracious and explained the parking dilemma to us. Thumbs up to Elanor, Michael and Vadim from the restaurant for your professionalism and genuinely caring about our experience at your hotel.

Aged rooms and decor. Unable to use drink vouchers in the bar.

I am truly sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the condition of the rooms, the use of your drink vouchers, and several service touchpoints throughout your stay. I understand that our Guest Experience Manager is currently in contact with you to better understand your feedback and address your concerns. Following your advice, we have identified that the Loyalty points for your second room were not correctly calculated. This matter has now been escalated as a matter of urgency by our Guest Experience Manager to the external Loyalty team for review and correction. Thank you again for your honesty and for your loyalty as an ALL Diamond and Accor Vacation Club member. While I regret the disappointment you experienced, I do hope we may have another opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a stay more reflective of the Sofitel standards you expect. I made some special requests to getvthe room decorated as I had to propose ny girlfriend. The room was ok but bot well located or decorated. The ocean view wasn't that great and buildings were obstructing the view

The hotel is located at a prime spot however its very aged, the rooms and the bathrooms are not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Broken tiles in the balcony, run down shower cubicles with mildew in between tiles, bubbling paint on ceilings, the wuality of toilet papers, the fact that you only get complimentary water at the time of checking and not every-time they clean your room. Loud Christmas carols in the lobby all day ruin the calm, rubbish smells in the parking lot.
