All staff were without fault providing very congenial and personal service. Their approach was friendly and very attentive. Our room was clean with fantastic views and nicely stocked with goodies. There was no compromise on quality of room and benefits even though it was a “package deal “. We will return.

Pleasant stay, little upgrade to the Ocean side was nice with my Gold AccorPlus membership. Accomodating staff. Rooms are spacious with a nice decor refresh. Bathroom was ok, bit old style shower fittings, bath tub plumbing loud and noisy. As it was a Sun-Tues stay I didn't get to try the hotel dining options but lots in the surrounding area. Just a couple blocks from the beach. More of a family hotel.

I recently stayed at Sofitel Broadbeach and unfortunately had one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had at a 5-star hotel. I arrived at 3:00 PM — the standard check-in time — yet I was forced to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before my room was finally ready. Because of the long delay, I was given what they called a “complimentary drink voucher.” However, even though the voucher clearly showed it was complimentary, the hotel quietly charged me for the drink without informing me. This felt completely dishonest. When I contacted customer service to request a refund, Lorena from their team responded with a dismissive message saying, “after carefully reviewing your account…”, essentially implying that my complaint was not valid. The tone of the email made me feel as if I was at fault — as if I was stupid for even raising the issue. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially from a hotel that claims to offer luxury service. A 5-star hotel should not make guests wait excessively, give a “complimentary” voucher, then charge for it behind the scenes — and certainly should not treat genuine customer concerns with such disrespect. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend Sofitel Broadbeach based on this experience.
