Disappointed on this particular visit. We stayed here last year and it was perfect, however I unfortunately cannot say the same for this stay. I paid for a superior double with a city view, which we did have, but the room itself was a corner room, so slightly on the small side/ awkwardly shaped. We overlooked a building site, the carpet on the bedroom floor had pink staining and the bathroom lacked any soap or tissues. I sent an email the night after my visit voicing my disappointment, but have yet to hear back from anyone. For the money we spent for one night, I was holding my hopes a lot higher (a visit like our one last year!!)

Canary Wharf was very good, nice room and friendly staff. Sadly we wrongly went to the Novotel at Custom House (Excel) and were very badly treated by un unhelpful and rude young man.
