When we arrived, we were told that our stay (family ajoining rooms for two nights) was only for one night, not the two I had booked. After showing the receptionist my booking for the two nights, she said there must have been a change ony my end (there was not, the booking, and online check in I did, showed the original booking of two-nights, which were fully paid for apart from the local tax), but didn't make an effort to apologise about the mishap on the hotels end. We therefore ended in two double rooms, instead of the ajoining family room with two singles, that we wanted. The rooms were nice and clean, very basic, however there were no hand towels which seemed odd? No kettle either, and for the first two days our shower sprayed in our faces, I only managed to fix this on the last day. On the day of checkout (which was at 12, on the website, and we checked this with reception too), we went out to breakfast and arrived back at the rooms (at approx. 11am), to find that our key cards were no longer working, and that our rooms just opened. All of our items were in our rooms, including passports, which could have all been taken. This was dangerous! I then lay down for a nap prior to leaving, my friends in the other room, and the cleaner just walked into their room! This was prior to the checkout time! Luckily I had locked my room, so the cleaner couldn't enter, however I'd love to know why the key cards stopped working prematurely and our rooms were left unlocked. For checkout, we just did the quick checkout and left our bags behind the desk, as there was a huge que, so I did not get to ask about the key cards/rooms open. Finally, when we retrieved our bags, the receptionist did not ask for our tickets for our bags, we were just able to take our bags. Which was quick, but again, unsecure and someone else could've just taken ours? Overall, security needs checking, and potentially the booking system as this also obviously didn't work properly.
