I booked the hotel because of its so many positive reviews and its affordable price and its very good location. To welcome me (on my birthday) the room was really nicely decorated, I had an easy check-in. Unfortunately the room-temperature was very cold (despite the thermostat was telling something like 26 C, what it for sure was not) and the bed was incredibly hard. I had a horrible first (and two other horrible, but at least warmer) night(s). The second night I could get a heater, but the bed stayed the same and the matrass was worn out and I could feel the holes from the many guests before me. The room was otherwise calm, that I could hear the water running down the waterpipes... Last, but not least I knew from other Ibis Styles Hotels the cleaning is always excellent. Not in my room, dust and dirt from former guests everywhere, especially the fingerprints on the doors, window, mirror bothered me the most. To mention something good, the staff was very friendly and helpful (just that I could not change the room) and when I asked for a welcome-drink, I was short told, not for me as I am just a classic-member (I was staying 3 nights) and when I insisted whether there would not be an exception on my birthday (and it was indeed my birthday) they refused in a way, what I did not find very friendly. Certainly I will not come back to this hotel.

Regarding the welcome drink, I understand how disappointing it must have felt not to receive one on your birthday. As part of the ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme, the welcome drink is a benefit extended to Silver status members and above. I’m sorry if this wasn’t clearly explained or delivered with the warmth and care it deserved—especially on such a special day. Thank you again for your honest feedback.
