Lovely first impression as you walk in, wasn't fussed on the no reception desk though as the staff were a bit all over the place and had to wait while to sort our booking out. The rooms are basic, bed was comfy. Now the bathroom, it was terrible you had to step up to it and the door wouldn't shut unless you pushed it hard from the outside and it made a very loud noise, not great for the middle of the night. It was cold in there even when the heating was on and only one light either on bright or off dark. Was in a good location.

Warm welcome at reception. Nice comfortable clean rooms. Good shower and bathroom. Quiet and made for a good sleep. Excellent room facilities with WiFi, terrestrial tv, coffee machine and kettle. Cheap parking available locally if needed. Good prices if booked early. On the downside, no heating in the room or bathroom during our stay. Limited seating for breakfast. Surprisingly pleasant stay! Definitely a good choice

Didn’t expect too much and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Room was nice sized, and bed comfy. Toilet is like a capsule/pod…… odd and slightly off putting but clean. Breakfast was good however limited seating so be prepared to wait for a seat. We weren’t in a rush so waiting wasn’t an issue. There wasn’t a massive choice however you won’t go hungry. There is free tea/coffee with lots of different teas and coffee options all day/night. One issue we had, and it’s not the hotels fault is the smokers outside and some of the people hanging about outside was a little intimidating however the hotel have take precautions and you need your room key to enter the hotel/access lifts etc Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the main Attractions with lots of nice places to eat/drink around it. We would definitely revisit this hotel.

Great location. Average hotel

Hotel was in a great location. Room was quite basic with usual mod cons. We checked in around 2pm and was told our room was ready but if we wanted to check in it would be an extra £10 as checkin was 3pm. We asked about the car park and was told we had to get the ticket stamped. It turned out we parked in the wrong car park - QPARK which was right behind the hotel and ended up costing us £50!!! The check in person did not check what car park we had parked in and really did not care less. BEWARE - you must park in the NCP car park.

While our hotel does not have an onsite car park, we have an arrangement with the nearby NCP car park for those who choose to use it, though it is not mandatory. Additionally, our team is fully trained to provide guidance on local parking and, just to clarify, none of the car parks in the area use a ticket-stamping system.
