From the time of arrival, wonderful pleasant staff booked us in with an easy family atmosphere. Unfortunately our accommodation was not ready but we were given welcome hospitality in the bar area. Our accommodation was fresh, very clean, and inviting, with loads of in room facilities. Free spa area was well run with seating and facilities that were provided with loads of fresh fruit and beverages. One staff member that deserves a big shout out is Paulina (blonde young lady) in the hotel restaurant !!!! She looked after my wife and I up and beyond her call of duty. Not only were we fortunate to have had her hospitality, so was everyone else that she served. A great ambassador for the service and joy of this splendid hotel. Thank you for your hospitality, service and making us feel at home. Gary and Elena

Sofitel is a beautiful hotel and very comfortable, with wonderful staff. There are a few little details which annoying, but nothing major. The tub didn’t drain when we were showering,, and though we’re pretty tech savy, we couldn’t get the TV to work with our Netflix or any movie channel so there was really nothing for us to watch in English. Our stay was short, so he didn’t use many of the amenities like the pool or the spa or the dining services.The location is a block away from the historic district, which is what we were really interested in seeing and spending time in. We would definitely stay at Sofitel again.!

Rooms are decent, location isn’t bad either, breakfast is totally overpriced and really poor quality, staff is nice, spa is nice but a little overcrowded. Shower jumps between super cold or super hot. Lobby is decent but can be very crowded with people that don’t look after themselves. Overall 7/10.

Absolutely horrible my anniversary and NYE was ruined there was semen and blood on the carpet. I am preparing to take legal action. Had to leave after an hour was almost left without a place to stay.
