We stayed over for New Year’s Eve. The hotel was very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean, well appointed, and quiet for being so close to the big, noisy, NYE party. We had a great view from the balcony too. We did not make use of the pools or spa because we were attending the music and fireworks at the city gates, but they looked nice. Getting to the city gates was an easy, short walk. Breakfast was kind of a mess. I don’t think they planned on everyone coming down late and didn’t have enough space to seat everyone. The NYE party downtown lasted until at least 2am, so I’m sure most of us slept in some. When we got down slightly before 10am, it was full with at least 12 people waiting for seats. We went back up to our room and waited about 30 minutes and then went back down right before it was over….so not the best breakfast we’ve ever had but it was still ok. I’m not sure what they could do to fix that, perhaps just offer extended breakfast/brunch on New Year’s Day? Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend.

Everything was perfect. Thank you for taking such great care of me during my holidays! I had a wonderful room overlooking the swimming pool and the city. It was very clean and quiet, so I was able to get a great rest at night. The hotel staff was incredible—from the front desk team, who were always smiling and giving valuable advice on sightseeing, to the bartenders and waiters in the hotel restaurant, who were very attentive and discreet at the same time. The hotel’s location is perfect: it’s in the strict city center, yet in a quiet and safe area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I come back to the island.

The hotel location itself so good, just 1 minute walk to the main area of Ponta Delgada, the room also fine with good ocean views. Unfortunately, Platinum benefit did not apply at this hotel. No upgrade to better room (they just offer the same type room with different views and bath/shower). The lounge & bar is normal, one area with restaurant for breakfast & dinner. No advantage for the Platinum member to access this lounge, drinks are not complimentary just like normal guest. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is Okay just minus benefit from the Platinum advantage did not implemented (no guarantee as ALL Accor group promise).
