We had a truly memorable meal in the hotel's lovely restaurant, thanks to more than just the delicious food and warm, welcoming ambience. Our window-side table gave a panoramic view of the city as night fell but best of all was the exceptional service from Thiago, who greeted us on arrival, and especially Liverpool supporter Andrew, who looked after us throughout the evening. Thank you guys, not least for forgiving our terrible Portuguese and summoning up your impressive English in compensation. Your kindness, in addition to the chef's skills, made it a very special occasion for us and we'll remember tonight for a long time.

We really enjoyed our experience headed by the awesome Thiago. We enjoyed the mushrooms and the lobster starters. The bread was also delicious. I had the duck and my wife the fish. Both enjoyed. As it was my birthday, the staff gave us a lovely dessert display with sparklers and song. Would definitely go again. We didn't stay at the hotel because of distance from beaches but did consider it. After that visit, we hope to stay next time. Abrigado!!

Santa Teresa Hotel is a Gen in the artista hills of Rio. Beautiful spot, great views of the city, a bohemian neighborhood and great service.

It was a lovely hotel with great amenities, the staff spa and restaurant were AMAZING. The lobby staff was ok nothing special. We had let the hotel know that it was our honeymoon months beforehand, and nothing was done for it - no note or decoration. Otherwise, the hotel was beautiful.
