The actual room was beautiful, and the lady that checked us in was lovely. Unfortunately, that is where the nice experience ended. The bathroom was revolting and it was impossible to have a shower without flooding the whole room. However, this is not where the bad story ends. There was something in the bed that bit me. I have approximately 35 bites on my chest alone. My friend and I googled what bed bug bites looked like and it doesn’t appear to be bed bugs, but something bit me in bed. I was absolutely disgusted. The room was so bad that my friend that I was travelling with cancelled the stay she had booked there in February. There was a lady working in reception in the mornings and she was an absolute rude bitch. I don’t think I have ever been spoken to in a similar manner by any other Accor reception employee. This hotel is not worthy of the Ibis Styles/Accor brand.

Positives: - Well located - Good breakfast - Large room with good number of seats for all the occupants Negatives: - Very small restroom. And the fact that only a curtain separated the shower from the rest of the restroom resulted that the restroom was flooded everytime someone took a shower, which was ver unpleasant. - Broken lift - Uncomfortable bed I defintely expected more from a Ibis Style hotel.

Very poor

Dear Mr. H., We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. Our hotel is a small, budget-standard property, and the room sizes are clearly stated on our website before booking. Regarding Room 612, we understand that the size may not have met your expectations, and we regret any inconvenience caused. We would also like to clarify that the step-down design is part of the building’s original structure. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the lift being out of order during your stay and for having to carry your luggage upstairs. The Elevator was faulty and guests were asked not to use it. I stayed on Level 4. This is unacceptable to the climb the stairs to level 4 everytime.

I had staycation at this Ibis styles with my teenager and we both enjoyed it.Walking distance from Stockholm center and our room on the 6th floor was relatively silent.Breakfast was a positive surprise for Ibis standard.Price/value was very good for Stockholm. Rooms are always small and a bit strangely shaped in Stockholm hotels..I can happily recommend this hotel for travellers.
