I could not use my Dining and spa rewards even after I showed benefit on my app and no welcome drink. Also wanted to charge rack rate to extend stay, even when facilities were hugely reduced due to typhoon eg no beach access. Restaurant food very poor as many dishes cold.

The front desk staff member, PO, made an effort not only to explain things but also to understand from the customer's perspective during check-in. I have a good memory of the service I received from that staff member

Staff were great, the room and amenities were not. Very outdated and in need of renovation and updates. Breakfast was literally the same thing every day and the lunch and diner options at the same location got old fast

I think the pool and slides were great for kids along with a lot of pool chairs to use. However, the food choices for both buffet and snack time were not as many options as I expect or would like. Some common area such as the elevator carpets were not cleaned, can see garbages on the floor. Front desk staff didn’t provide information about guest can also use the Hotel Nikko Avilia pool. Overall, the room is spacious and has a nice view and my kids enjoyed the slides a lot.

Good location (middle of the island, next to Zanpa lighthouse and park), lots of activities for kids, good food options for kids but gets boring for adults after 2 nights. There is an Okinawan restaurant across the street. Overall a great place for a holiday weekend get away.

Nice pool and slide facilities, spacious room and great proximity to the beach. Hard to access rooms though during busy period with limited lifts. Also, limited lunch food options, peeling paint and lots of dirt on balcony (beach side) and cold bacon and eggs at breakfast buffet.

Kids loved the pool, night snacks and free drinks. The room was spacious and clean and the family loved the stay. Only thing to be careful is that there are no izakayas in walking distance.

Morning Yoga class started from 7 a.m from pool side and it was too loud enough to wake up from the sleep so i called front desk but the staff didn't understand English so well. all of us had to wake up even though we were tired. that was shame.

Comfortable stay. Well equipped rooms and clean. Very good buffet restaurant. I’d say slightly overpriced for the 4 days we stayed.

Overall speaking the stay was great. But we didn't expect waiting half an hour for the hotel buffet breakfast despite we could obviously see empty tables, would appreciate it if the staff could let us know the waiting time during check in. The happy hour session at night was great but super crowded. It could be fun to use the pool facilities if the weather is great.

While breakfast offered a wide selection, the food quality fell short of expectations. The swimming pool was noticeably unclean, with mud accumulated at the bottom, and the Wi-Fi was either failing to connect or painfully slow. The elevators were also frustratingly slow and overcrowded, leading to unreasonable wait times. Most disappointingly, the level of service provided was far below what we paid for—it was so minimal that it made virtually no difference whether staff were there or not.

Overall a pleasant experience, only that one day my room was left opened by the staff after room cleaning. Luckily nothing was stolen.

During my 3 days (2 nights) stay, the pool and beach facilities closed on 2nd day due to typhoon. While feeling so depressed and disappointed for no fun at all on 2nd day, and there's even no rain on 2nd day, and I had to watch the pool and little sunshine. (On the same day, I went to Nikko Alivila Hotel, and they had the pool open, that made me quite jealous.) Well, the wind and rains coming on 2nd night, it's safe and feeling no fears staying inside the room. The tightness of windows had no wind noise nor shakes. This is nice.

We loved our stay at Cape Zanpa Grand Mercure. We loved the position right near the beach, which was very pretty. The pool was lovely but the water was a little too hot. The rooms were spacious and very nice. Breakfast has a huge variety. The resort was extremely busy, which we knew because it’s their peak season. It’s perfect for families with children. If you are a couple, be prepared for a lot of kids. Staff were all lovely. The free poolside snack and drinks were a lovely feature. Thanks for a lovely stay.
