My stay at Ibis was acceptable in terms of room comfort, although the rooms are quite small. However, an issue with the laundry service had a big impact on our experience. We spent around three hours trying to dry our clothes using the available machines, but they never fully dried, even after several attempts and using different machines. This took time we could have used to explore the city. When I went to reception to explain what happened and ask for a possible solution, I was questioned about the amount of clothes I said we had used, and was told: “We cannot verify that what you are saying is true.” What stood out to me was not the issue itself, but the way it was handled, without empathy or basic trust in what a guest is explaining. With Ibis’ strong reputation worldwide, I was genuinely surprised by the way this situation was managed. Because of this experience, I have decided I will not stay at Ibis again in Japan.

Love it!! Very clean.The hotel are well located .It near to a bus stop and train station that brings me to tourist places.And there are 2 halal restaurants nearby (5-10mins away).

This was a great place to stay in Kyoto, nice walking distance to main attractions and the train station. Helpful staff and luggage holding facilities. The laundry was super helpful also.
