We had a wonderful and convenient stay at Sofitel Damansara. The elevators were efficient, with hardly any waiting time, and we appreciated the special rate offered for connecting rooms, which made our family stay even more comfortable.
The location was perfect for us, especially since we were attending an event at the Grappling Centre. It was so close that even when it rained, my sons had no trouble getting there.
Breakfast was delicious, with an impressive variety of choices. Another highlight was the all-you-can-eat seafood buffet at the restaurant. My sons absolutely loved the abundance of lobsters, salmon sashimi, and crabs! As someone who isn't particularly fond of seafood, I was equally happy with the delicious lamb.
Overall, a very comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable family stay. We would happily return!

Our stay at the Sofitel was an absolute delight, even with a little one in tow! From the incredibly comfortable Nuna baby cot to the spacious room and impeccable service, we felt so well taken care of. While there is room for improvement regarding breakfast variety and internal staff coordination (my coffee order which was taken by the staff that seated us was not followed-up on, requiring me to grab it myself), the overall hospitality was top-notch and I will definitely return to this oasis in KL. Merci beaucoup Sofitel 💋

but the service was not good, my colleague had a problem with iron box. they didn't replace for 2 days. he has to carry from my room. we asked for cutlery for having food at room, but need to repetitively follow up required. not recommend for vegetarians in breakfast no much options and veg food provided were not quality. others were excellent like different options for fruits and breads, coffee etc

We usually refrain from criticising venues but thought we would provide this in the interest of the greater good... this was the end of a 4 week trip for us OS.. all of which we stayed in hotels.. from the Kimpton in Bangkok to the Park Hyatt in Ho Chi Minh, to Melia in Hanoi, to Westin in Jakarta to Grand Hyatt in Manilla. Unfortunately Sofitel was most disappointing and a terrible finish to what has been an epic 4 week trip. We suggest that you spend sometime in your breakfast buffet area to really get a feel for how you are faring. On the Monday morning, a French guy in a suit came in and started berating all of the staff publicly. The offering was disappointing with many things empty and un-replenished. It also took us an hour to get a bucket of ice to our room and in the end we came down and got it ourselves. The pool area was no better... no service whatsoever and very disgruntled staff. Can't help feeling after experiencing the hospitality in the other hotels, that the wheels have fallen off. Happy to chat if you'd like more feedback but feel free to ignore. Just thought I would take the time to provide this response in case it comes in handy. We are big time for the greater good. Cheers.. P.S. Your room service staff are the best thing going for your hotel.. friendly, humble, genuine, hardworking and unattached to outcome!

Spacious and clean. But some facilities are not working, e.g. the socket and the USB on the desk. The wire of the hairdryer is too short and hard to pull for drying the hair. The mattress is sunk and loses support. It is uncomfortable.

I landed at 4am and arrive at the hotel at 6.30, the stall let me check in then, it helped me a lot becasue I had an important meeting at 10. I got upgrated to a junior suite, so glad to be a gold member and stayed here.
