Well located, good size room, nice breakfast. Shower dial was very stiff and so didn’t have one, but bath was good with good pressure hot water. Beds were comfy - mine had a squeak though. Good choice at breakfast but coffee could have been tastier. Reasonable parking.

I use a powered wheelchair and my first difficulty was leaving the car park and the upright tubular handle got caught upon the door handle leaving the car park for the lift area. I was stuck there for about ten minutes but people did help get me free. I asked for an acessable room and elements of the bathroom were good wiith extra handles but there was a bath and I was hoping for a wet room type arrangement. the room itself was small compared to many I have stayed in and made manouvering a big wheelchair difficult.

I booked the hotel for a family birthday and wedding. My brother needed an accessible room that he booked and I booked 2 rooms for my family. I stayed at the hotel sometime ago and have to say decor wise it is a little tired. Staff were excellent, and we enjoyed the breakfast as well.

I am writing to raise two issues from our recent 4-night stay at your hotel, from 27 August to 31 August, under booking reference 56…. Rowan M. (CC’d) and I were the guests. We were originally placed in room 404 for the first 2 nights, before being moved to room 412 for the remainder of our stay. The room change occurred because, on the second night of our stay, we experienced water dripping from the ceiling in our room, which became increasingly heavy. This was both disruptive and concerning, particularly for a 4-star hotel. Although staff were responsive in re-allocating us a room the next day, it was inconvenient for us during our short stay to have to wait for staff to identify an available room and then for us to move all of our belongings across when we had already unpacked. Also, during a visit to the sauna on 30 August, staff turned it off while we were still inside, despite this falling within the facility's stated operational hours. This cut short our use of an amenity we had specifically looked forward to using during our stay. Given these experiences, I feel the stay did not meet the standard expected of your hotel. I was particularly disappointed given that I am a regular user of Novotel hotels, including for work trips.

Parking barriers would not open when presenting my car park ticket which was paid in full in advance! When parked on 4th floor the hotel entry door to lifts did not open! I was asked to walk up the ramps to next floor with suitcase and two children. No conditioner in room, i asked but was told by manager conditioner only avail for executive rooms! Poor experience all around for Novotel. To pay £150 for 1 night and unable to get into car park, building and use conditioner was unexpected. I spoke with manager but was told it would be fedback.

As a loyal ALL Accor member, I frequently choose to stay at Novotel properties because of their family-friendly reputation. Unfortunately, my experience at your Bristol location was completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing from start to finish. Below is a breakdown of the issues I encountered during my stay: Unprofessional Check-in: Upon arrival, there were no other guests in the lobby, so I anticipated a swift check-in. Instead, the receptionist did not even acknowledge my presence for a full two minutes, as she was too busy texting on her mobile phone. Poor Room Conditions: Upon entering my room, I found a patch of the carpet to be wet, forcing me to place a towel over it so we could walk around. To make matters worse, when I sat on the main bed, the mattress also felt noticeably damp. Inconvenient Gym Access and Neglected Facilities: The following morning, my key card would not allow me entry to the gym. When I went down to reception to resolve this, a staff member casually dismissed the issue, stating, "Oh, the card reader hasn't been working for a couple of days." I was instructed to go back upstairs and wait for housekeeping to let me in. I had to sit on the floor in the corridor waiting for someone to open the door, only to find a gym that looked dirty and as though it had not been used or maintained in days. Public Embarrassment at Breakfast: When I went down for breakfast, a staff member questioned whether I had breakfast included. I confirmed that I did and was seated. However, while I was eating with my family, the same staff member approached our table and publicly confronted me, stating that breakfast was not included. She then asked me to reconfirm my room number. It became clear she had misheard me the first time, but being repeatedly questioned and harassed in the middle of the restaurant in front of my family was incredibly embarrassing and unprofessional. This accumulation of poor service, substandard room conditions, and public embarrassment completely ruined our family stay in Bristol. This is far below the standard I have come to expect from the Novotel brand and the ALL Accor loyalty program. I look forward to hearing from you promptly regarding how you plan to investigate these issues and what you will do to rectify this ruined experience
