Had requested in my booking for an 11:00 am check in that was offered as part of booking flow and planned for this , only to find that the room in fact wasn’t ready and would not be for some hours. The staff were however friendly and acknowledged the unmet expectation . My “upgraded room” was one of the smallest on the floor - not sure of the bonafides of the “upgrade”. Hotel had all the practical facilities required and is in close proximity to a number of eateries , pubs and the of course London Metro.

However, I regret to learn that your experience with the early check-in and the room size did not meet your expectations. My experience this time was not okay. I had whilst booking asked for a suite higher floor. On arrival I was confronted with the suite on the first floor. All kind of excuses that other people were earlier in their request etc. That can happen but than the hotel should have responded that the request was not possible and give me the chance to reconsider my reservation. Either take another room-type or go somewhere else. Further there was no announcement of ongoing renovation works (replacing door etc) at all ! It was not possible to work concentrated in the room during the day. Not at the moment of booking, neither at check-in. I find that not-done and again, it left me without choice to change. Last, an e-mail which I sent to h3… at 08.58h, to alter my booking was never answered although I asked for a confirmation. All together, this is not custumor friendly and as a regular visitor of the hotel I do expect different

Good stay in a hotel I have not visited for some time. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. My only comment is on the room design as I hate the exposed sinks.

No bath in executive room, gym was tiny, 2 people were in there and there was no room.

the receptionist was very king to lend me an adaptor, so I could work until my room was ready. Very much appreciated. Also in general all employees were available, kind and helpful. the room was quiet & the bed comfortable: great sleep.
