The LIBER Architecture Group is a forum within LIBER, the Association of European Research Libraries. The group seeks to support the exchange of experience between librarians and architects throughout Europe, and strives to raise the level of awareness of new library building projects and trends. LAG organizes seminars biannually together with hosting libraries that usually opened a remarkable building recently, and the group collects and distributes information about new library building projects in Europe.
Planned for 2020 but cancelled due to the Corona-crisis, and now staged in 2022: the Luxembourg Learning Centre (LLC) - being the library of the University of Luxembourg - welcomes international librarians and architects for a 3-days event in Belval, a district of the second-largest Luxembourgish city Esch/Alzette that happens to be the European Capital of Culture in 2022.
