Nice rooms and bathroom. Underground parking is provided, from which you can enter directly into the hotel. No vehicle noise during the night. Recommendation for accommodation in Almada (outside the hustle and bustle of Lisbon). Hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast should be more varied.

I love this hotel. My family lives nearby and it's perfectly located right off the highway, a Lidl store next door and even a Staples. Close by Almada center has some great restaurants. The reception staff works so hard to make guests happy. The breakfast is good with lots of choices. The croissants were as good as you get in Paris! The room is simple but clean and has what you need. Great garage under the hotel that is free. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Staff and accommodation are truly excellent. Breakfast buffet has an amazing choice with hot food and a seemingly unending choice of breads, rolls, cereals, yoghurts, cakes and fruits. The evening meals were superb. This hotel really is a true gem and just a trip across the river by ferry to the city where parking is a nightmare, so you just drive five minutes to the ferry port, park up for a very reasonable cost and enjoy a short boat trip. Free parking in the hotel underground garage is a real bonus too. Everyone goes that extra mile to make you feel welcome at The Mercure and as a former hotel manager myself for many years, I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Lisbon. Almada is a friendly town with so much history - and with just that hop across the river to the city it's a no brainer!! Thank you Mercure - you deserve every accolade

Also, our location is strategic - with our free parking and close to the 25 de Abril bridge, which is between the tranquility of the city of Almada and the center of Lisbon, it is also just a few minutes' drive from the beaches of Costa da Caparica, 15 minutes walking from the Cristo Rei sanctuary and 5 minutes by taxi from the "Almada Forum" shopping center, one of the largest in Lisbon.
