Dear Ms Jessica S., We appreciate for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Mercure Selangor Selayang. We regret that your dining experience did not meet your expectations. In regards to the buffet food selection, the selection of menu was choose and prepare according to the meeting event planner menu selection of the day. Unfortunately we do not serve buffet lunch or dinner on daily basis unless there is a special meeting or occasion arrangement. In house guest have the option of either to join the buffet (if available) or mainly order from the ala carte menu in which you had opted to choose to order from the ala carte menu. As for the other dining options, there is a wide selection of local and fast food to chose from at the nearby Bandar Baru Selayang or Selayang Mall which is just 5 minutes drive from the hotel. We do admit that food shop near the surrounding of the hotel is limited, however this is not within the care or vicinity of the hotel. At Mercure Selangor Selayang, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Unfortunately the management building of Emerald Avenue that the hotel is located is being managed by a different management. We do understand the challenges of the lift services and the car park services. We will bring up this issue again to the building management. Further inspection for the room that you had stay in, we do not found any defects nor did we received any feedbacks in regards to the shower is not in working conditions.
