This hotel is a perfect combination of being very ”Berlin” and local but still delivering all the perks of Mercure and Accor brands. The rooms are nice, breakfast delicious and rich in variety, Bar cosy and the location couldn’t be better. The atmospehere, which I like most, comes from the staff. They are professional yet relaxed and friendly. Most importantly, they all are proudly themselves, personalities and genuine. This makes a huge difference to most chain hotels. This dream team makes your stay cheerful and memorable. Human to human. I keep returning to Mercure Wittenbergplatz again and again as I like it so much!

After two previous wonderful stays, I have now stayed here for the third time and it was just as perfect as the first two times. So now I can definitely say that, for me, this is the best hotel in Berlin. Exemplary loyalty treatment! Thank you so much for the very generous upgrade! I really appreciate it. The room is very comfortable and in a perfect condition. It still looks brand new! Amazing! Kind, lovely staff. Delicious breakfast. Great housekeeping. Hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Room was well sound insulated from outside noise. Proximity to the underground and restaurants couldn’t be beat. Easy to walk to main tourist attractions or take the underground around town. Would absolutely stay again next time I’m in Berlin.
