While we are pleased that you found your room clean and comfortable, I am very sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the in-room fridge and the impact this had on your stay. We fully appreciate the importance of having appropriate arrangements for medication that requires refrigeration, and understand how disappointing and disruptive it must have been to change your plans and return home earlier than intended. We recognise that the performance of some of our in-room fridges has been an area requiring attention, and we are actively working on improvements. Where medication requires specific temperature-controlled storage, our team can also assist with a suitable alternative, although we appreciate that this does not replace the convenience of having a functioning fridge in your room. I am also sorry that you were not satisfied with the initial response to your complaint. Unfortunately, one of our coffee machines is currently out of service and we are awaiting its repair. We appreciate that this is causing additional pressure on the remaining drinks station during busy breakfast periods, and we apologise for the inconvenience this caused during your visit. While the equipment issue is being resolved, it remains our responsibility to manage the service effectively and safely. I am particularly concerned by your comments regarding queues forming in an area where our team are moving between the kitchen and bar carrying trays, and we will review how we manage this while the second machine is unavailable. The lack of teaspoons and dishes for preserves, together with tables being left uncleared, is also disappointing and should have been managed much better by the team. Breakfast should be a relaxed and enjoyable start to the day, and we recognise that your experience was far from this. We are working to have the coffee machine repaired as soon as possible and, in the meantime, will focus on improving the organisation and management of the breakfast service.
