Kenan and Alina at the front desk were more than professional in welcoming my friend and me. They gave us help and information beyond the job. Then the baristas at the coffee shop were warm, fast, and attentive. The room was outstanding and the pool/fitness center/spa were a happy oasis after touring the historic city.

I had two issues only, the iron that u sent me for ironing was so bad, it was half broken and leaking water from everywhere, the second issue was the curtains, in one of the rooms it was filled with holes that allow light to enter to the room which is annoying and whenever u wanna move the curtains they give a loud noise

Hotel quality is decent enough and comparable with other Ibis properties, but what you should know is that it is not close to the old town, which means a BM25 taxi ride each way. There are no taxi apps and it is cash only. There is nothing to do or anywhere to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Also, you should know the hotel does not serve alcohol in order not to offend Muslims. This is ridiculous. I can buy Alcohol in the many Accor hotels in Dubai, but not in Sarajevo! I asked the lady at reception how they can consider themselves an international hotel. She was apologetic, but just said it is management policy.

Third visit to this hotel, we usually drive so benefit from the free parking but these time relied on the tram to get us to the city centre which is a short walk away. The gentleman on the reception was lovely, spoke wonderful English and allowed us to store our luggage until our room was ready. Rooms are quirky, but sometimes the attention to detail is lacking, in our bathroom the tap was wobbly and some of the tiles in the shower were looking a little grubby - didn’t affect our stay but it’s a shame when little things get missed. Breakfast is good, nice variety of sweet and savoury, breakfast staff a little cold but I don’t speak Bosnian and the staff I encountered their command of English was basic so perhaps they were a little shy? Only tea or black coffee available - no milk based drinks from the machine despite the machine offering, it just dispensed water in place of milk. Lovely rooftop bar / restaurant and we enjoyed the mocktails - particularly the pina colada :) good food and reasonably priced. Nice to have the benefit of a pool - it was clean, warm and the area looked well maintained. Always happy to return again :)

The employees are just doing their job. They didn't seem to want to help another possible location, the waitress in the breakfast room was very kind, I thank her. When we arrived at the hotel, we wanted to change the room with a room with a balcony, but they didn't want to change it.

We often stay at different Ibis hotels when we travel, and we especially love the themed concept Ibis Styles hotels. This particular hotel stood out with its excellent wellness facilities, the kids loved swimming pool, we all appreciated the variety offered at the Kahwa & Croissant Cafe (the Cappuccino was superb and the Russian honey cake was extremely delicious), as well as the views and food at the roof-top bar. Above all, the break fast in the morning is a gem. Emineh kindly prepared a custom-made that was absolutely delicious omelette. We arrived early around 11:30 and the host at reception didn’t hesitate to offer the early check in as one of the room was already ready, kind hospitality. We would gladly stay here on our next visit to Sarajevo. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality in such a unique historic of Sarajevo where cultures of East and West not only meet and co-exist but also offer great thinsg to see and explore.

Ibis Styles Sarajevo is a good base, close to the airport and public transport so the old city is just a tram ride away. The hotel also has great views over the city and surrounding mountains. Great service from the staff makes the stay truly welcoming.

Very clean Swimming pool was nice Sauna and steam room Reception area very jice and we were allowed to have drinks after hours. Lots of car parking space. We were able to get late checkout free of charge, this was important due to the kids. 1. My wife expensive make-up dissappeared from the room (Charlotte Tilbury eye liner). 2. Rooftop staff was rude. Overall, I loved the whole experience, highly recommended, I will definitely stay again and recommend others. Close to airport, 15mins drive away. Short driving distant to most places lik3 old town, yellow fortress and more.
