The hotel was lovely overall however our room was a little bit tired, although it advertised a mini bar the fridge was empty and all the extras were quite a shock as in €25 to use the spa, €17 for a taxi that the hotel called to Vilamoura, extortionate price for a bottle of wine to be brought to the room which spoilt our experience as this hotel is meant to be 5 star

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, slightly away from the marina, but getting around was easy and inexpensive with Uber. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although some areas are a little tired and could benefit from a renovating. Housekeeping was excellent — our room was cleaned once or twice daily, and toiletries were replenished regularly. Breakfast offered plenty of choice each morning, and we also enjoyed the hotel bar, which had a lovely atmosphere, although drinks were on the expensive side. The food in the fish restaurant was excellent, even if the staff occasionally seemed a little overwhelmed due to the number of guests and needed a bit more leadership. As the hotel was fairly quiet in May, we often had the second pool entirely to ourselves, which made for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday overall.

The hotel and room was amazing.everything you want from a 5 star hotel. The pool area was great.nice and clean. The breakfast was amazing and everything you'd want from a breakfast.lots to choose from. However, when it came to dinner time, we had to choose from a bar menu in the cocktail bar OR the seafood restaurant..it was a 3 course dinner and was the same menu every night which was disappointing.dont get me wrong, the food was amazing but I think you could have had more of a choice every night instead of the same menu. And also why you was eating, the restaurant staff were hovering around you to finish your dish and then they'd whip it out from underneath you.i had a instance where my dish was taken whilst I was talking to my dinner guests and hadn't finished.i had to call her back to let me finish my dish. Also, our transfer back to the airport didn't turn up forcing us to book a uber back to the airport which cost us a additional £25. Other than that...id definitely return there.pure luxury

Stunning hotel and extremely clean, lovely staff. Only thing that would have made it a 10 is if the breakfast was a bit warmer. Other than that, it was a brilliant stay and I would definitely go back.
