Overall, we had an enjoyable stay with great food, outdoor pools and lovely restaurants with great food. It was a shame that the rooftop bar, spa and indoor pool were all closed as it gave the impression that the hotel was running down.

I had visited for a wedding last week, from the minute I was greeted by Antonio at check in he was amazing - super friendly and helpful! His attention to detail was great even remembering to ask me how the wedding was a couple of days later. The staff at the pool were also great. My only criticism was the food at the pool could have been better but other than that I loved it!

Very disappointed the SPA was not open at all, the website and Accor have not updated this. Poor the the Victoria Resort and Spa has no Spa!

An unforeseen maintenance issue required us to temporarily close the spa. Following the closure, we updated the information on our official website. We are sorry for any confusion caused by information displayed elsewhere.
“Victoria Resort and Spa” remains the hotel’s official name, which we cannot change during a temporary closure. We understand, however, that this name creates an expectation of spa access, and we regret that we could not meet that expectation during your visit.

The hotel is great, amazing amenities, location. But I was a little put off with my laundry charge despite confirming with an agent on the phone about the cost only to find out I was charged 66 euros to wash 5 pairs of socks and underwear.

Excellent service, quality and facilities however very disappointed that the spa was closed for the whole week and no compensation offered. Website says adult only pools but there were noisy children playing in the main pool and when I queried this with a member of staff they said that there were no restrictions on pool use. Also, on one day there were very noisy people using the pool and using foul language but staff did nothing about it.

We overall had a lovely stay but felt the hotel had been advertised as a 5 star hotel. It lack a lot of the little personal touches and didn’t find the services overly efficient.
For example some days our room would not be clean until late afternoon/early evening.
The rooms needed some love, there were mis match chairs to the table, the travel cot had multiple scratches and chips. The curtains were hanging off the rail and the silver cover for the shower was hanging off.
We also would some days get 2 bottles of water and others 3 which made us feel it wasn’t consistent. We used the milk but then wouldn’t get given any more, but then a couple of days before leaving we did.
Aside from the room we also had to ask for drinks on a couple of occasions at breakfast.
The issue continued during the day were at one stage, after 45 minutes had past we had to chase our drinks order up at the pool bar to be told they had forgotten.
Typically we would usually let a couple of these things slide but it seems to many issues to not have affected our experience.
A top of this, we were advised a week before arriving the spa was closed and no treatments could be provided. Whilst we understand this can happen it was disappointing considering it’s a golf & spa resort. Had everything else been perfect we wouldn’t have minded but when we take everything into considering it’s also a major factor to why it’s not a 5 star.
