ibis Faro Algarve Hotel 2 stars

I stayed at Ibis Faro after arriving late at the airport. Check in was easy and fast. The room was small but had everything I needed. The heating didn’t work, which was not a problem for such a short stay but I probably would’ve raised it with reception if I had been staying for longer because it got a bit cold overnight. Breakfast was poor given the pandemic, no buffet and no food out – had to ask the lady at reception to bring out some bread and cheese with ham. It’s totally understandable though, given the guidelines on food handling etc. The staff at reception were always helpful and friendly. Overall, good experience.

The hotel is clean and friendly. Small rooms but fit the bill. Pool was nice if a little cold. Breakfast is basic but tasty.

Calm experience, polite staff (except breakfast lady that was somewhat "less polite" with guests) but... *Very Poor breakfast for amount paid as excess, *Bathroom (not room) wasnt clean as expected, *Swimming pool without standard daily maintenance.

Hotel is well placed for airport, it is clean and modern all you want for a short stay. The swimming pool and terrace are a bonus.

This used to be a good hotel. But higher prices, oppressive Covid rules enforcement, and inattention to more important problems (like smelly air conditioning) have spoiled it. Even the front desk staff were hostile. I've stayed here many times, but never again.

This hotel is very good, well located. Rooms clean and comfortable. Close to airport

Overall it was good. Staff is polite, location is very good. Close to the airport, close to the city town centre and easy access to the motorway to go to Albufeira. Out of the main road so very peaceful to rest. Breakfast was a bit poor

The only negative comments I have is that the outdoor swimming pool needs some serious cleaning. The toilets for the pool were locked and that area looked like it needed cleaning. The shower you should use before getting in the pool was so dirty it was unusable. Pleasant staff, rooms exactly what is expected for the price.

Professional service as always. I always seem to get my best night sleep in the Faro Ibis. Excellent, friendly , helpful and professional service by the receptionist who was on duty when I arrived and left. unfortunately she did not have a name badge. Hotel felt safe in these difficult times.

Had a stopover following a late flight arriving at Faro. It was a straightforward 30 minute walk from the airport. Check in was quick. The toilet was faulty but was immediately fixed by the very friendly reception team who came up to sort it out. Standard Ibis rooms. Breakfast was served in a nice area overlooking garden and pool. Outside seating available. Varied continental breakfast with some local pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. Faro centre is another 30 minute walk alongside an attractive greenway, adequately lit at night, leading straight to the harbour front.

The hotel room was good but the hotel facilities were pathetic, unless you like microwaved food you'll be advised to eat out or ring for a carry out to be delivered to the hotel ! I would not recommend the hotel unless your desperate and there is nowhere else available

We stayed at the Ibis for easy access to the airport after a stay in Albufeira. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Price was good value at this time of Year and staff were helpful. I would stay there again.

This is an amazing stop over hotel where everything works.qaulity of good is good ,staff are well motivated and polite.Thehotel is easy access to Faro airport and shopping area.This is run in accordance with accor standards.

This is our third stay at the Ibis Faro. It’s clean, comfortable and the staff are very helpful. Nice pool area too if you have the time and suitable weather. The bar and restaurant prices are also reasonable.

Location is excellent for airport. Hotel staff very friendly. Loved the 24 hrs pool. .only little thing is the room are small but practical.bathroom has a lovely shower. Breakfast is rolls,crossiants etc.
