One night stay at the end of 10 day break in Portugal. Clean room of average size small window decent shower and bathroom. A shame no drinks or food available due to covid 19.

Not good. I did not reeive my early morning call at 05.15. You let me book breakfast at the time I booked the room but I didn't know you were only going to serve up a third rate aircraft type of breakfast on a tray. Half a cup of coffee, no butter, no jam, a slice of cheese wrapped in paper. No choice of yoghurt just a sweet strawberry one. One croissant, and one small white roll and a sweet natas. Not the sort of breakfast I'm used to at the Faro Ibis where I stay quite often. Please don't blame coronavirus. You could do better. As a member shouldn't I have been offererd a welcome drink? I always enjoy this hotel with its warm outdoor swimming pool but this is different. As I changed for swimming the pool was closed.This was a problem because the Municipal pools in Albufeira were closed on the 10 March. Only yesterday did it come to pass that one of the teachers in Portimao had the virus and died. The first day there was a cold Breakfast Buffet on a tray.It looked that my third day there was no one to cook bread croissants etc and only fruit juice available . Food supplies are low in the Algarve with small supermarkets low on Bread products and other essentials. Even though I checked out for the airport on 24th March 2020.My plane was delayed by 12hours and then cancelled.Several plane bookings and cancellations later ,my Journeys are back to Vilamoura. The beds are still very comfortable in this hotel but if you stay inside the length you can walk is low. I did enjoy my evening meals just like normal and the evening staff were very friendly. On the last day I met the manager known for over 10years. Of course it is within a short taxi ride of the airport. Ideal for morning flights

Less than 10 mins to the car hire returns area Rooms are small and clean adequate for an overnight stop However we were there during the Covid19 issue and breakfast was suddenly no longer available, but the bar was open with sticky tape on the floor to create a safe zone. The bar mAn had rubber gloves on which were never washed or replaced even when he coughed on them. So no hygiene defends for the customers at all in fact worse than normal. Probably stay elsewhere next time there is plenty of choice Ps I did send this comment direct to the hotel on the day but no reply to date

Clean, comfortable, efficient room. Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Located a short walk from the airport through lovely Montenegro and downtown Faro. Would definitely return.

Often stay at this hotel. Always a warm welcome. I am trying to learn Portuguese and the receptionist on arrival really was very helpful. He didn't go straight into English with me, but spoke slowly in Portuguese, which was great. I really appreciated that. Room very clean. A good breakfast.

Nice peaceful stay

Had a stopover following a late flight arriving at Faro. It was a straightforward 30 minute walk from the airport. Check in was quick. The toilet was faulty but was immediately fixed by the very friendly reception team who came up to sort it out. Standard Ibis rooms. Breakfast was served in a nice area overlooking garden and pool. Outside seating available. Varied continental breakfast with some local pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. Faro centre is another 30 minute walk alongside an attractive greenway, adequately lit at night, leading straight to the harbour front.

Stayed two nights, room was clean, compact but comfortable. The hotel is located near the airport and about 30 min walk to town/ restaurants etc. The pool area was well maintained and was a nice place to relax (we travelled in February). One drawback, no baby changing facilities in the main toilets located near reception.

Arrived midnight, needed to check in which I wondered why as I had checked in on line ! Room was fine, but, breakfast I thought was very poor......

Our first visit to an Accor hotel in Portugal. The hotel is situated on the edge of Faro, so definitely need transport. A pleasant 3 nights. Comfortable room. Staff very helpful . The room was always thoroughly cleaned each day. We had breakfast each day with plenty of fresh food and plenty of choice. The only small issue was that our room was very close to the lift which we could hear through the night. As we were staying 3 nights maybe more thought to choosing a quieter location could have been made. I suppose we ahould have asked to be moved but didnt like to make fuss. Next time when we stay for 3 nights or more we will be more assertive and ask for a different room.
