Having stayed at Pullman Rotorua on many occasions in the past, and usually booking a suite, we had become used to the Gold Card system, which we thought was simple and efficient. The new Inner Circle variant was inefficient by comparison. Everything, we felt, had to be explained.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Pullman. It has everything I need and great location. However, the only downside is the lack of private bathroom facilities in the rooms. When travelling with family and friends, I won’t stay at the Pullman because of this.

Overall, a good place to stay. The room was satisfying, the breakfast had really nice juices. I do think that the room could have been maintained better, was the Nespresso machine was leaking, and the walls were a bit dirty I do however wish they allowed me to link my accor account to the booking. One thing about the restaurant that really was irritating was the use of AI imagery in their promo. Seriously, they look absolutely awful and the generated food looks disgustingly unappetising. It is really cheap and taints the brand massively, I have no idea how anyone approved of it.

Service poor, breakfast buffet food cold and no one was check when food containers were empty, especially scrambled eggs, bacon and tomato’s Used plates left on the tables when going back for other items. The room was nice, but TV was difficult to use with out help from the staff. Overall a noticeable decline in standards from our last stay last year.

Couple weekend away

We are delighted to hear that you found the booking process seamless and enjoyed your arrival experience. However, I am sorry to learn about the issues you experienced with your room temperature and entertainment options. Please accept our apologies for the discomfort caused by the air conditioning during your stay; our engineering team will inspect the unit in your room to ensure it is functioning properly. Regarding our channel selection, in line with many international hotels across New Zealand, we no longer offer Sky TV services. However, our televisions feature streaming capabilities (Chromecast), allowing guests to easily access their preferred content, sports, and movies using their own devices and personal subscriptions. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused during your weekend away.
